Samantha Bailey

In 2009 Samantha Bailey took over the role of Summer Newman on The Young and the Restless when the character was aged. During her time on the show Samantha was given a lot of air time from family functions to a storyline where Summer goes into anaphylactic shock and left comatose after receiving a kiss from Patty who had eaten a peanut butter cookie. After over eighty episodes the show decided to recast Summer in 2012 to age her into a teenager.

Career Highlights

Samantha Bailey began her career modeling at the age of 2 months. By the age of 3 she won the Little Miss & Mister Hawaiian Tropic West Coast title. In 2006, Samantha signed on with her agency and started doing print work and commercials, along with the shows NCIS and Pushing Daisies. Since leaving The Young and the Restless Samantha has been seen in the film The Good Mother, and has done episodes of Bizaardvark and Just Add Magic.
