The Young and the Restless’ Mckenna Grace (ex-Faith Newman) has released a music video for her new single Bones and All. Per her Instagram, Mckenna shares the inspiration for the song, stating:

I wanted to write a song that felt totally head over heels obsessed. For yearning! For feeling so deeply you can only pray that someone feels the same way you do, even though you know it’s absolutely impossible. For when you’re totally obsessed with someone whether you’re with them or not. Although to me, the metaphor of Bones and All meant loving someone entirely to their core…bones and all. To see every piece of who someone is and to show even the parts of yourself you think are awful and to still have love. That’s a scary vulnerability, but beautiful to experience. Just to know someone and to be known. Basically what I’m saying is I watched Bones and All and some more gothic romance movies and got super emotional so I wanted to write a song for intense yearning
