Sophie Pollono

Sophie Pollono took over the role of Cordelia Abbott on The Young and the Restless in 2011 when the character was slightly aged for a leukemia storyline. She was on frequently through this storyline and for a period afterwards, but then saw no airtime for about a year until the show wanted to build up the emotional side of things for when they would kill off the character in a hit and run in 2013. Fans were devastated not only to lose the character, but that the show would kill off a child like that. After the character was killed off Sophie continued to make appearances as Delia’s ghost from time to time, last airing in 2016.

Career Highlights

Outside of the soap Sophie has done the TV movie Reluctant Nanny, and was seen in commercials for Cuties, Purex, Subaru and many more. She also starred in the Disney series Fast Layne.
