Darcy Byrnes

Darcy Rose Byrnes took over the role of Abby Carlton on The Young and the Restless in 2003 when the character was aged and recast. It wasn’t long before Darcy was getting several lines in her scenes and acting in several storylines on the canvas. In 2007 Darcy brought her character across the hall to The Bold and the Beautiful for a few crossover episodes which the shows often did at the time. In 2008 her time on the soap unfortunately came to an end when The Young and the Restless decided to once again aged the character and recast.

Career Highlights

After leaving the soap Darcy did episodes of How I Met Your Mother, Private Practice and Ghost Whisperer. She also had a recurring role as Penny Scavo on Desperate Housewives. In recent years Darcy has been focused on her music and doing voice over work. She voices Princess Amber on Sofia the First and also does work on the series Spirit Riding Free.
