2023 – Viron Weaver

Viron Weaver plays the role of Wiley Corinthos on General Hospital. He has appeared in several episodes this year, including two soap weddings and for Halloween. Viron has also been seen on 9-1-1: Lone Star and did a film!

1. How did you get into acting?
I was a baby and my mom submitted my picture for a movie called Bear City 3. I cried and slept in a stroller.

2. What was your experience like filming 9-1-1: Lone Star?
I was surprised at how long the day took. I worked on it for a few days and it was cool to be on the Fox lot. I enjoyed riding around in the golf cart and Neal McDonald held me up and everyone sang Happy Birthday to me. It was really exciting.

3. How did you enjoy filming Fame-ish with your siblings?
It was OK. They played with me in the hallway.

4. What was your first day on set like for General Hospital?
It was so much fun! I loved all the Christmas decorations and I just had to hang an ornament on the tree and play with toys!

5. What is the best part of filming with Katelyn MacMullen?
She gives the best hugs and makes me laugh every time!

6. How do you enjoy working with Chad Duell?
He shows me his phone games and we make fun of each other. I love him.

7. Do you have any special routines you do to prepare for your lines?
I practice as soon as I get them and then go to sleep. The next day I know a lot more of them. After a few days, I usually have it down pretty well.

8. What do you like most about being on the show?
The actors I work with. They are all so nice and easy to be with.

9. Do you have a favorite episode you have filmed?
The Halloween episode I did this year was a blast. There were buckets of candy all around and cool costumes. I got to play cornhole in the scene and got three beanbags in the hole!

10. Can you tell us anything about your upcoming film The Principle?
The director was super patient and kind to me. I had to work with a stunt coordinator and everything was very specific.

Is there anything else you would like to add?
I would love to do a horror film someday. I love scary movies!
