2023 – Presley Chasson

Presley Chasson is the older sister of Autumn Chasson who did episodes of Days of our Lives. Presley’s resume includes a long list of modeling jobs, as well as commercials, film, and more recently episodes of the series Truth Be Told.

1. How have you kept busy during the strike?
I have started taking singing lessons and learning new songs.

2. What is it like to be back to auditioning again?
It’s great to be auditioning again and reading the new scripts.

3. Having been in your school production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, what do you like most about working alongside your peers and how did your acting experience come into play working with your friends?
It was really fun to work with my friends and it wasn’t stressful at all because it wasn’t anything professional. I would help sometimes when I had different ideas.

4. In regards to your clip on Instagram of you singing, do you also want to pursue the music side of the industry?
Yes! I have always loved singing and started about 7 months ago with singing lessons. I will also start playing the guitar soon as well. My goal is to be a singer and come out with albums in the future. I also love to audition for roles where I have to be able to sing.

5. What was your experience like filming for Truth Be Told?
It was so fun! During COVID I was on set but it was still awesome. I met so many people and friends. I hope to be on set soon again.

6. How did you prepare for playing a younger version of Micah?
I read parts of the script with the older version in it and saw her personality. I also watched movies with Kate Hudson to see what she looks like.

7. What was it like meeting Octavia Spencer and Kate Hudson while working on the show?
One of my favorite parts was meeting them. They both were so nice and I was in one scene with them and they would talk to me. Octavia welcomed me to the show when I gave her along many other people on set cookies.

8. How did you react to your YEA nomination? What was it like attending the ceremony recently?
I was very surprised as I had a feel like Truth be Told was so long ago. I was very excited tho as well. I met a lot of people and it was very cool being there. To think that this is just the start of going to award shows is very exciting.

9. How has modeling changed for you from doing it as a young child to now as a teenager?
I haven’t modeled for something in a while but as a child it was easy because my mom would do everything and you just need to smile and pose. From the last time I did a modeling job it was pretty much the same. I am pretty short so in the future I probably won’t be able to do it anymore.

10. What are your career goals for 2024?
My goals for 2024 is to possibly be featured on a singing competition show or be on set for a TV show or movie.
