2023 – Jaylhen Lewis

Jaylhen Lewis is the younger brother of Jahmir and Cherish who have appeared on episodes of General Hospital. He has appeared in multiple projects including episodes of Abbott Elementary and an IHOP commercial.

1. How did you get started in the industry?
I saw people on tv and I wondered if it was real.

2. How do you prepare for a day on set?
I bring my tablet, workbook and sometimes they do my hair and my makeup.

3. What was your time on set like working on your IHOP commercial?
It was kinda funny and, I liked the grandpa suit it even came with a mustache.

4. What was the experience like filming for Jimmy Kimmel?
It was really fun! We got to throw popcorn at the puppets.

5. How do you enjoy working on the series Abbott Elementary?
Sometimes it’s boring sometimes it’s fun but in all it’s fun.

6. What do you like most about filming a project with a big group of children on set?
On set they are really nice.

7. What is one of the funniest things to happen while filming?
We had to throw popcorn at the puppets.

8. Do you have a favorite person you have been able to work with?
I like everyone I work with because I can learn from them.

9. Which job that you have done so far has been your favorite to work on?
My favorite job was when I got to throw water balloons at the camera.
