Star-Kidz

TK Weaver played the role of Danny Morgan on General Hospital. Recently he has been busy with the film New Year, an episode of American Auto, and more!

1. What was the best part about working on your episode of Henry Danger?
A few people on set telling me that I looked like a young Jace Norman.

2. What is the biggest challenge working on set with several other kids?
Depends on the kids. I’ve been pretty lucky so far.

3. How did you enjoy shooting your Degree commercial?
I loved it! Unfortunately my version it never aired.

4. What has been the most challenging casting process you have gone through?
I was in the final chem reads for Greenland and I was told it looked good. Then the director and Chris Evans had to drop the project so it was all reset. My mom was going to be Kate Mara. She was really nice. I had like 10 auditions. Bummer.

5. Do you like doing drama or comedy roles more?
I do more drama but I like both.

6. What was the experience like filming New Year?
That was amazing. They filmed the entire scenes without cutting. It was an amazing experience.

7. What did you like most about your character Micah?
He was really smart and liked hanging out with adults. I’m like that too.

8. How is working on a feature film different than other projects you have done?
Everything is different. It really depends on the film and director. I’ve got a lot of different experiences now.

9. Who have been some of your favorite people to work with recently?
All the directors have been amazing. They direct and teach me to be better. Nathan Sutton. Tim Sutton. Joel Coen on MacBeth was cool.

10. Is there anything you can share about your episode of American Auto?
Well my lines/parts were pretty small so hopefully I won’t get totally cut. It happens.

Is there anything else you would like to add?
I’m in a new movie called Good News with Machine Gun Kelly that will be out soon.
