Tatiana Romero is a New York based actress who has worked for T-Mobile, Northrop Realty and Mila and Morphle. Make sure to keep a look out for her in the upcoming year with several projects she’s got coming including Dads Do It and High School Bully.
1. What do you love most about working in the industry?
I love that I get to meet new people and the interactions that I have with them.
2. What was your time working on Mila and Morphle like?
I had a lot of fun working on my first animated project in the studio. It was interesting to see it all come together.
3. How did you prepare for voicing Eboni on the Opal Watson podcast?
I prepared for the role of Eboni by working with my voiceover coach. She really helped me find my voice.
4. What is the most challenging part about working on voiceovers?
One of the challenges about voiceover work during the pandemic, is not being able to see the director/producer or the other cast members when we’re recording at the same time.
5. How did you enjoy working on your Northrop Realty commercial?
I really enjoyed working on the Northrop Realty commercials because I got to make new friends. The cast and crew were really nice. The client always made it a point to chat with me and the other kids while on set.
6. What was your time on set like working for T-Mobile?
The T-mobile x Reese’s project was so much fun. The wardrobe and make-up was awesome. Plus, it’s not everyday you get to go to a set that looks like Reese’s Halloween fantasy. I also walked away with a bag full of my favorite candy.
7. Do you do anything special to celebrate a booking?
After a booking, I usually celebrate by eating at my favorite Indian restaurant.
8. What was the experience like working on your feature film High School Bully?
It was interesting because we filmed outside during the Cicada season. So, there was a lot of noise. It was also really hot. I had so much fun doing my own stunts and it was my first time working with a drone camera. The name of the movie has been changed to Hope Lives. I can’t wait to see the finished project.
9. Who have been some of your favorite people to work with?
One of my favorite people to work with was Luna Lauren Velez. She is an amazing actress. She told me to never dim my light and to always give my all. I also really enjoyed working with my “family” on the Dads Do It Too pilot. The chemistry that I had with Randy, Kyla, and Kenneth really felt like a real family.
10. Do you have a favorite project you have done?
All the projects I’ve worked on are my favorite.
Is there anything else you would like to add?
Thanks to the support I receive from Colette Palmerio and Bonnie Shumofsky Bloom, I am able to work as a professional actress and do what I love. I am blessed to have an amazing team. None of my accomplishments would have been possible without the support of my mom. She is my biggest cheerleader.
