Francesca Terracciano is a New York based actress and model. She has been seen working on Plum, Sling Tv, Evil Lives Here and more!
1. How did you get started in the industry?
After my mom loved it with my brother, She decided to see if I liked it, so first we tried East Coast Starz (Star Gazer) when I was like 3, because they had the hair and makeup & outfits. You were able to get a little training, model in front of the camera and walk the runway. It was a whole process. And I LOVED it! So we signed with an agency after that for modeling.
2. Do you have a favorite part of the audition process?
Well now that we audition mostly at home, I really enjoy the part of playing the character with my mom, we make it so much fun! And Giggle a lot!
3. What was your time on set like shooting for Plum?
We actually shot with Bobby Sax for the first time using Plum as one of the outfits for my Cruella project. It was really fun building her character. But my latest print project was gorgeous gowns for Little White Label and Tons of fun AMAZON shoots, I got to play with unicorns, dinosaurs, walkie talkies & Binoculars with my friend!
4. What was it like to film for Scary Mommy?
Very fun and the crew was very nice! I loved the setup and Playing with the Unicorn was my favorite part! Especially they let me keep it and it wasn’t even out in stores yet shhhh lol
5. How did you enjoy filming your commercial for Sling TV?
It was a blast! On my off time I got to play on a tree swing! I wasn’t really allowed to see the porcupine in person because we could scare it, in the scene they put a fake porcupine there that I talked to. And then when I left they put the real one there.
6. What was the best part of working on your Peekaboo Ice Cream commercial?
Seriously! The Ice cream of course! I got to eat tons of it! Lol The most funniest part is, I enjoyed it so much until they told me there were vegetables in it EW! Lol When they told me while they were recording, My face in the commercial was priceless haha But it was sooooo good!
7. What was the experience like filming your episode of Evil Lives Here?
I really enjoyed this project, I got to meet really talented girls and become friends with them. The crew was very professional. It felt so natural to be on set and in front of the camera, it’s where I belong. To play a character is really fun!
One crazy moment was doing my lines by the tree with tons of bugs around us and try to act like they arent even there, while their sitting on my head lol
8. Did you do anything special to prepare for the role?
Yes I was originally supposed to play the lead character but I was too small. So the lead character had issues and I had to really focus and play being evil, for the audition, it was kinda fun lol. My acting coach Thersea at the prep really helped me build this character. Playing the younger sister was very easy for me. I just had to be cute and scared.
9. What do you like most about filming on location?
Seeing new things, it’s like a new adventure everywhere we go. Especially when it’s not a place we’ve never been to. When filming Evil Lives Here, we stopped at a beautiful bridge and I got to walk it before we went home.
10. Do you have a favorite project you have done?
When I was like 4 Kohls was a big one for me, I remember walking into the store and looking at a huge poster board going look mommy it’s me! I was all over the cover pages too. Toys R Us I really enjoyed too , so sad it closed.
My favorite Commercial was Tub O Towels when I was actually allowed to make a mess with slime!!!
11. Is there anything else you would like to add?
I have been really focused on the acting side now, I kinda just fell into it because of all the commercials I booked. It really is fun to build a character. I have recently joined a musical theater group and Actors Playground with a bunch of kids just like me! I didn’t get that often, it was just me, and the struggle is hard, no one truly understands besides my mom. So being able to enjoy that with kids just like you really is something special! I would highly suggest this! Because kids that do the same thing as you understand.
ALSO have fun! Be a kid! Have play dates! There’s too much training training training and I feel it’s best to be able to also be a child and enjoy those kid moments!!!
Catch me on Hulu soon with some Icons!
