2021 – Dominic Terracciano

Dominic Terracciano is a New York based actor and model who has worked for Target, T.O Collection and Coca Cola.

1. How did you get started in the industry?
It started when I was 9 years old and was asked to walk for TO Collection at the Posh Kids Magazine Fashion show, it was an amazing experience! And after that I was hooked!

2. What was the best part of working for Jetson/Target?
I would say riding the hoverboards of course and the areas we shot at! Very awesome NYC parks and under this Brooklyn bridge with an awesome park underneath I would’ve never known about! Also the crew is very cool!

3. When working on The View, what was the process like going from booking the job to being on live television?
I had to go to the ABC studios and do a fitting first, then go back to shoot the footage. Were you nervous at all? Not at all. The staff was amazing and walked me through everything, great spot to chill and snack while waiting too. And Meeting other kids like me.

4. What do you enjoy the most about working for a brand for multiple shoots, such as T.O. Collection?
TO Collection is like family to me, it’s where I started, and grew up! The people there are so genuine and nice, they give me tons of cool gear! Seeing your face on huge poster boards at Children’s club is a great feeling. I would say my best shoot was in the City with my buddy actors/models that I grew up with in the industry working together with creative soul was excellent!

5. What was your time on set like working for Coca Cola?
THIS WAS EPIC! I was so blessed to even be there! That crew was the coolest, I saw the coolest things and met the coolest people! Set was great! We hung out in this kinda creepy church basement lol my mom was a little freaked! But we did our shots in some really cool places, my favorite was this dope pool club, where I got to flip around in the sprinklers and pool! And meet a few of the best photographers around! Anna Palma & Guy Aroch (he has some awesome visions!!) I did have to do something out of my element, lol, Kiss a girl on camera, that was pretty funny. Especially when I basically grew up with her in this industry too. The best part is seeing your billboards across the world! I’m in London etc! Coca Cola will probably be one of the biggest I’ve ever experienced!

6. When doing voice over work, how do you prepare differently than for on camera work?
Your voice is very important for this type of work, you have to be more focused and settled, you have to really get into character and use your words with feeling. It is very important to use each word perfectly and precisely. Building a character is very fun! You go into a Voiceover booth with a headset, and the crew will tell you what to say or correct.

7. What are some of the biggest challenges of being a teen actor?
Some of the best personal rewards? Acting you have to really get into character and memorize a lot of lines. You have to be more grounded and focused. The best reward is seeing the final result! Watching yourself.

8. What has the experience been like working on videos for Scary Mommy?
Ha this crew was very fun to work with. And it’s more laid back and I play some cool characters, I really enjoyed myself.

9. Who have been some of your favorite people to work with?
I stated a few above. TO Collection, Anna Palma, Guy Aroch, Creative soul, Posh Kids Magazine.

10. What has been your favorite project to work on?
UNIQLO Commercial and print, I got to do some of my parkour! Bunch of huge balloons, in NY. And seeing myself, a huge poster board in the store & a huge one out the window in Disney Florida, while on vacation, was awesome!

Is there anything else you would like to add?
Sure. Don’t ever give up! There will be many downs, but the ups are so worth it! Everything falls into place for a reason. Be yourself!
