Zara Jirgis is young actress and model in Los Angeles and will be seen on an episode of General Hospital in the coming weeks! She has also worked for Jakks Pacific, Disney, and Universal Studios.

1. How did you get started in the industry?
Back in preschool a classmate’s mom told my mom that I should try modeling and acting since I have an exotic look. So my mom submitted me to a talent agency and they signed me.

2. Do you have a special routine you do to celebrate a booking?
My special routine is that I get to go to Build-A-Bear and make a bear for each booking I get.

3. What was your time on set like working for Jakks Pacific?
My time on set shooting for Jakks Disney Toys was so fun! It was a two day shoot and I pretty much got to play with the new Aladdin toys for hours and hours!

4. What did it feel like seeing your images on the Aladdin boxes when they came out in stores?
Seeing my pictures all over the new Aladdin Live Action toys was so cool! I couldn’t believe that I was one four different toy boxes for the Jasmine dolls and for the tea set. Every time I saw it at the stores I’d take pictures of them. My mom and dad bought a few sets of them so I can have them when I’m older. A cool thing about it is that some little girls at Target saw me in the toy isle and asked for my autograph!

5. How did you enjoy working for Disney? Is there a favorite look you have done?
I love working for Disney. Everyone on set is so nice to me and are so fun. One of my favorite looks that I loved the most is when I modeled in the Live Action Jasmine Desert Rose dress.

6. How did you react when you heard you booked General Hospital?
I was so excited when I found out I booked General Hospital because I get to see myself on TV for the first time.

7. What do you like most about working on set for a television show?
I love meeting new people on set and I love watching people act.

8. What was the experience like filming for Universal Studios Japan?
Filming for Universal Studios Japan was amazing. I got to film for five days, met so many amazing people and got to work on a project that I have been obsessed with ever since I was a baby! I wish I could say what it is but I can’t disclose any of that information just yet. The global launch commercial trailer is coming out very soon and it’s going to be jaw dropping!

9. Who have been some of your favorite people to work with?
Some of my favorite people to work with have been Buffy from Disney, Rhonda from Disney who always does my hair and makeup on set and also the directors and producer of the Universal Studios Japan shoot.

10. What has been your favorite job to do so far?
My favorite job so far has to be my Universal Studios Japan one. I didn’t want to leave.
