2019 – Porter Fasullo

Porter Fasullo plays the role of Daniel Morgan on General Hospital. He has also been seen for Ring Pops, Palamon Costumes and this holiday season was seen for the Walmart Kid HQ!

1. How did you get started in the industry?
My mom submitted my photos to the agency I’m with about two years ago and they asked to meet with me. I was asked to prepare a scene to show them. I also sang for them. Then they offered to represent me for commercial, print and theatrical representation.

2. What was the best part of working for Palamon Costumes?
It’s a great company and the costumes are always current and exciting.

3. What was your time on set like filming your Ring Pops commercial?
Well, it was super fun because eating candy and getting paid to do it is pretty awesome. I loved it until I ate about 30-40 Ring Pop gummy gems then my tummy was full but we still had to do a bunch more takes. So I spit them out. I also made a great friend filming with Brooklynn Mackenzie and we’ve been able to do another project together since.

4. How do you prepare for your auditions?
Depends on the role. Sometimes I just memorize my sides and show up. Sometimes I go to an acting coach to prep.

5. How excited are you about getting to be part of the cast of General Hospital?
I was super excited! GH has been on the longest of any soap so it’s such an established and well known show. The cast and crew were all very nice and welcoming.

6. What was your first day on set like?
I was nervous. There are so many people in the cast filming different scenes and I wanted to make sure I did everything right.

7. How do you like filming with Kelly Monaco and Steve Burton?
Mr. Steve and Ms. Kelly made me feel right at home from the beginning. They are wonderful actors and I’m learning a lot from them.

8. How did you feel seeing your first episode air on TV?
It was surreal. Especially because they do so many close ups! Seeing my face on my own TV was weird and cool. Hard to describe, lol.

9. Is there anyone in the cast you hope to get a chance to film with next year?
I’d love to do scenes with Hudson West and Jophielle Love. Also Maurice Benard because he seems cool although we have not met yet.

10. What has been your favorite episode to work on so far?
Hmmm. The scene I did with Mr. Steve when he tells me my mom is being charged with manslaughter. It was a sad scene but I liked doing it.
