Star-Kidz

Hudson West plays the role of Jake Webber on General Hospital. This year he has also been busy with L.A.’s Finest, Penny Dreadful: City of Angels, and more!

1. Do you find it harder or easy to juggle several jobs at once?
I don’t find it necessarily easier or harder to juggle several jobs, I like it. 🙂 I don’t usually get stressed and I actually enjoy being busy and I love working.

2. What’s the best advice you’ve been given by a fellow actor?
The best advice I’ve been given by other actors is really just try to relax, be myself and have fun! 🙂

3. What was your time on set like working on L.A.’s Finest?
Working on L.A.’s Finest was very fun! I got to do a lot of action packed scenes and we filmed in some very cool locations! I thought the final product was very cool.

4. For the pier scene were you allowed to do your own stunt jumping into the water?
For the pier scene I wasn’t allowed to actually jump off of the pier. I jumped over a railing and landed on a mat. As far as the water scene, they used a big hot tub and then used a green screen behind it. That was so cool because I never knew how they did that stuff and I got to do it and it was very fun!

5. What was the best part about working with Jessica Alba?
Working with Jessica Alba was great! I really enjoyed meeting and working with her. She is an amazing actress and I was just so honored and grateful to have had the opportunity!

6. How did you enjoy working with Gabrielle Union?
Working with Gabrielle was great as well! She is an amazing actress too. She was so nice and funny. She made me feel relaxed and part of the team. I am truly blessed to have had the chance to work and meet her.

7. While filming GH, the stakes must be so high and filled with tears and drama. In between takes are there any pranks you pulled to help lighten the mood?
During the filming at GH you must be prepared. You only do the takes once or twice, unlike other shows. There really isn’t much time in-between takes to pull pranks. However, sometimes the other actors will make jokes and horse around a little bit to keep the mood light. As for myself, I always try to remain happy & go with the flow but when it’s time to do a serious or emotional scene, I need to change my focus and get into the character and mood.

8. Is there anyone in the cast you hope to get to work with next year?
At GH, I certainly hope I get the opportunity to work with Maurice Benard. He’s a great guy and I’ve never really gotten the chance to work directly with him. So I think that would be an honor!

9. What was your favorite part of filming Elizabeth and Franco’s wedding?
My favorite part of the wedding was doing the scene with the whole family!! And I thought it was pretty fun playing in the band! 🙂

10. Is there anything you can share about your role on Penny Dreadful: City of Angels?
I really can’t share much about Penny Dreadful City of Angels except that my name is Trevor Craft, my brother is Tom Craft, our father is Peter Craft and our mother is Linda Craft. Sorry but that is about all I can share right now.

Is there anything else you would like to add?
I just want to add how much I truly enjoy working on every project I have ever done. I am so thankful and grateful for every opportunity and I hope there are more projects in 2020! I am also so thankful for everyone’s support and for believing in me. Much love!
