Gianna and Isabella Garcia play Elizabeth Forrester on The Bold and The Beautiful. This year the girls have been busy with Games People Play and did a shoot for Walgreens.

1. What was the experience like being a part of one of the final episodes of The Fosters?
It was exciting being in the graduation epidsode of The Fosters. It was a big shoot with a lot of people and the girls were still young. It was a long day for them, but I’m glad we made one of the final episodes.

2. How did Gianna and Isabella like working with Danny Nucci?
Danny Nucci was great with the girls. He took the time to spend time with the girls before their scenes which helped the girls to feel comfortable on set.

3. What was their shoot for Walgreens like?
Gia and Bella are 3 1/2 now so shoots are becoming increasingly harder. They have a lot of energy and are not the best listeners at times because all they want to do is play. On the Walgreens shoot they had a baby wrangler that was amazing and was able to reel the girls back in and get them back on track. At the end of the day the girls had a great shoot and the photographer was able to get all the shots they needed.

4. What is the craziest part of the audition process at this age?
The crazy part of auditioning is whether or not the girls will do what is asked of them. We drive from San Diego to LA for the auditions so it can get hard for the girls being in the car for so long. Some days they are super social and kill it during auditions and some days they act super shy and won’t even say their name during the audition. It is very unpredictable.

5. How was it different working on Games People Play compared to B&B?
Games People Play was actually shot on location so we never went to a studio like B&B. Some of the scenes for Games People Play were really intense which was hard for the girls. They had a really emotional scene involving a gun which resulted in a lot of tears. We never had really emotional scenes for B&B. The two shows were similar in that they had great casts who really went above and beyond to make the girls feel comfortable on set.

6. What was their first day on set like for Games People Play?
The first day on set was really easy. The girls had a scene in which their mom (Lauren London) was jogging so the girls just had to sit in the stroller. Bella was chosen to do the scene that day and she ended up falling asleep in the stroller doing the scene from all the back and forth movement. It was really sweet. After the scene they did a mini photo shoot with Lauren and Gia to get photos for the on-location house to have real photos for the decor.

7. How did Gianna and Isabella enjoy working with Sarunas Jackson?
The girls LOVED working with Sarunas. He is such a great guy. He took time out of the day to come downstairs in the on-location house and played hide and seek with the girls and played other games so the girls felt really really comfortable on set with him. He’s also very tall so when the girls would get cranky in between takes he would put them up on his shoulders and they loved that.

8. What was the experience like working with Lauren London?
Lauren was also absolutely wonderful. She has a son very close to the girls’ age (who also looks a lot like them, they could be siblings!) so she worked so well with them. She always advocated for them on set, for example requesting a blanket if it was cold for them. In the emotional scene Lauren really looked out for the girls and even yelled “Cut” herself one time when she believed the girls were too overwhelmed to continue. I couldn’t have asked for a more considerate actress to work with them. We loved our experience working with her.

9. Do the girls ever watch themselves on TV? Can they tell themselves apart?
The girls have actually never watched themselves on TV! The shows they’ve been on haven’t been kid shows so I’ve never thought to show them. As they get older I will.

10. Do you have a favorite scene they have done?
My favorite scene they’ve done is with Sarunas for Games People Play when they got to run down the hallway from Sarunas into their TV Godfather’s arms. The girls had so much fun doing this scene with the two actors and even practiced it beforehand with the two actors. It was a lot of fun.
