2019 – Everleigh McDonell

Everleigh McDonell is the cousin of Asher and Brayden McDonell who have appeared on The Young and The Restless and General Hospital. This year her brand new series Truth Be Told premiered on AppleTV and shes back for another season on Good Girls.

1. What was the experience like doing A Little Advice in front of a live audience?
It was so much fun! Sometimes, off stage, I was a little nervous, but when I actually got on stage I felt better. Being on stage was really exciting. Just imagine you’re on stage, with lights in your face, and a microphone and you talk to Noelle! In the audience were some people I know, some people that were my family and I made them laugh a lot. I was funny!

2. How did you enjoy getting to attend the premiere party for Truth Be Told?
That is one good question. There weren’t that many kids; well, none at all. I was the only kid. It was kind of hard being the only kid but I got through it. It was one huge day! It was freezing and there was a big movie theater. Every time there was a bad part, my mom had to cover my eyes and ears. When I wore my Junona dress, I felt very mature and fancy. After the red carpet, my smile bones hurt! It was a lot!

3. What was the best part of filming with Billy Miller?
Billy Miller was so nice and every time I would talk to him he would bend down and talk to me. He was really sweet. My younger cousin played the young version of Billy Miller on General Hospital so that was cool.

4. How did you react when you heard you’d be coming back for season three of Good Girls?
I was amazed! I screamed! I thought “I get to work with my fake family again!” I’m filming it now. I really just like the experience every time I work in scenes and I feel like I’m actually the character and the other actors are actually my family.

5. What do you like most about working on the show?
Every time I get to set, I’m like “Hey everyone!” I know most of the people there and that makes it fun. I love working with everyone.

6. How do you enjoy working with Matthew Lillard?
Matthew Lillard is a character like me. Every time we film a scene, he actually becomes the character and I’m like, “Whoa bro! I never saw acting like that!”

7. What are some of your favorite things to do to pass the time between filming?
I go to crafty! I do that and play with my fake siblings!

8. How much are you and Jane alike? Different?
Ooh…me and Jane are both very confident, curious and we are like the same person. Everyone knows that. And Jane Boland is very chatty and likes to color. What is different about her, is I don’t like soccer and she likes soccer. She is into boy stuff and I’m not into boy stuff. She has creepy dolls and I don’t have creepy dolls.

9. Do you have a favorite scene you have done?
My favorite scene was discussing that my mom and dad were splitting up. I liked it because I got to talk a lot.

10. Is there anything you can preview about season three?
I might have eaten seven pounds of bread. Besides that, I can’t really tell anyone anything!

Is there anything else you would like to add?
I love working on Good Girls and Truth Be Told and playing different versions of me. I get to be Ella Dunn, Jane Boland and Everleigh McDonell!
