2019 – Chloe Teperman

Chloe Teperman played the role of Charlotte DiMera on Days of Our Lives during one of the character’s birth episodes. She later made her way to The Bold and the Beautiful as one of the babies playing Kelly Spencer and appeared on the soap, in magazines and more for the role.

1. How did Chloe get started in the industry?
Chloe’s dad works in PR and knew of some co-workers and clients that had put their children in the industry. So when she was born we thought it would be smart to get her an agent and if she got any work we would start her a college fund.

2. What is the casting process like at her age?
Casting for her age is pretty simple. You bring your child to the casting and the casting directors want to see how the child does interacting with other people, having other people hold them, how they act on their own etc.

3. What was the best part of having Christopher Knight work alongside Chloe?
He was incredible. He was so great with Chloe and knew how to work with young babies. He actually came up to me on set after their scene and asked who her mother was. I said me and he said, “wow this is the first baby I’ve worked with that hasn’t had a meltdown on set. You’re doing an amazing job!” It was a pretty special moment.

4. How does Chloe like getting to attend premieres?
Miss Chloe loves being the center of attention on most days so attending premieres and walking red carpets she loves…. as long as she has had a nap and food 🙂

5. What was her time on set like working on Days of Our Lives?
Chloe was only 8 weeks old when she was on set for Days of Our Lives. They actually had a few babies share that role because they are only allowed to be on set for a certain amount of time. That day was tough to be honest. We were struggling with feeding and she had a tummy ache that day. But she was able to get through a few scenes before having a meltdown. That’s the hard part with being on set with babies. You can never tell how it’s going to go.

6. How was it different from working on Days to B&B?
It’s hard to compare the two because Chloe was in a different age bracket when she worked on B&B so she interacted more with the other actors instead of just the set nurse and I had more responsibility of being on set behind the scenes with Chloe during B&B where as when they are younger, a nurse that is on set usually takes them to set and back to the dressing room. But both were great experiences.

7. What was her first day on set at The Bold and the Beautiful like?
The first day on set at B&B was so much fun. We met Zoe Pennington, who Chloe shared the role of baby Kelly with. We were also introduced to other cast members. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming.

8. How did she enjoy spending time backstage with Zoe?
Chloe and Zoe were best friends in the dressing room. Zoe is a few months older than Chloe so Chloe was always trying to copy what Zoe was doing. Zoe’s mom, Jacki, was also really great to be around. We worked as a really good team with the girls trying to get them ready and make sure they were happy and fed!

9. Has she ever gotten to see herself on television? How does she react?
We tried watching her on tv when she was younger but I think she didn’t really understand what was going on. But it would be interesting now to see how she reacted because she is obsessed with watching videos of herself on my phone. She always points to my phone and says “Coco, Coco.” which is her nickname because she wants to watch videos of herself!

10. What was the best part of working with Jacqueline MacInnes Wood?
Working withe Jacquie was great. She was easy to work with and to be around and she was great with the girls. She was also pregnant at the time Chloe was on set so I think she really liked having the girls around to see how it would be when she had her baby.
