2019 – Brianni Walker

From acting to singing, dancing and reporting Brianni Walker has taken on a variety of roles in the industry. This year she has been busy with new film roles, performing on stage, and one of her latest projects, The Kool School with Mister Josh. Brianni will also be reprising her role of host as she interviews celebrities at the Hollywood Christmas Parade this evening!

1. What was your time on set like working on Love Is The Only River?
Well, we’ve worked on the song a year now. Being on set with some amazing people was breathtaking. We performed at the 2019 Global Youth Awards & Daniel Pearl World of music.

2. Do you ever get nervous going to set on the first day for a new project?
Yes, I’m always nervous because I don’t know what to expect.

3. What is one of the craziest things you have gotten to do at an audition?
The craziest thing I have gotten to do at an audition was for a Honda commercial. I had to interview my grandmother YaYa in front of casting.

4. If you could film a project anywhere in the world where would it be and why?
If I could film a project anywhere, I love it to be on Wonder Disney Cruise to Hawaii, since YaYa is always with me on set I really would liked to take her.

5. How did you enjoy being a reporter at the Hollywood Christmas Parade?
I love being a reporter at the Hollywood Christmas Parade. It’s super exciting. I get to walk around the parade, interview celebrities, fans & most of all Santa Claus. I’ll be returning this Dec 1st.

6. What is the toughest part of doing that type of job?
The toughest part of interviewing is trying remembering the name of the event & locations, and when the celebrities ask me questions.

7. What was the best part of attending Mattel’s / Children’s Hospital Party on the Pier?
The best part of attending this event was it was a very humbling experience. To get invited was such an honor for me and to volunteer my time for a great cause. It was really cool seeing some of my favorite Disney & Nickelodeon stars & popular social media influencers working together, and having the Pier closed to the public and be able to rides without standing in long lines.

8. Have you ever been star struck when meeting a co-star?
Yes. I’ve been star struck meeting co stars. I screamed when Kevin Hart & Ed Helms walked on set to film (Captain Underpants Promo), Trinity Stokes (Disney, K.C. Undercover) we did a Justice print shoot, Jaheem King Toombs (Nickelodeon Knight Squad) & Dakota Lotus from (Disney Cami & Coop), on set to record “Love Is The Only River.”

9. What has been your favorite project to work on this year?
My favorite project I worked on this year was my new global television show, “Kool School with Mister Josh.” It’s like an modern urban/Mickey Mouse/Kidz Bop. I had so much fun battle rapping, pretending to be Rosa Parks, and a chef. The entire cast & crew were super sweet & nice.

10. Is there anything you can share about your upcoming role in The Uncanny?
I filmed Uncanny last year. My character supporting role as a mean girl living in a group home. My latest feature film is “Tell Her” I play lead as Aisha, a victim of child abuse & a tomboy/ bully. The upcoming film “The Broken Key” I play Marie, a genius pianist that’s raised by an older sister after my mom passes away.

Is there anything else you would like to add?
I like to tell everyone, Have A Beautiful & Blessed Holiday. Remember, God has a purpose for your life. Stay Blessed, Stay Humbled, Stay You. Always be forgiving, because no one promised a tomorrow.

Also, I had an amazing experience attending @LA Zoo Angry Birds 2 DVD release celebration & interviewing actress Tori Spelling (TV show Beverly Hills 90210), Angry Birds 2 Producer John Cohen & Co Director Johnny Rice. Mr. Rice taught me how to draw each animated character. I’m also excited to shoot our 1st music video “Vibration” for Kool School with Mister Josh in Jan 2020.
