Vaun, Beau and Cade Burton are young actors from the New York City area. Their resumes include a variety of film projects and shows such as The Blacklist, Gotham, and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt!
1. How did you get started in the industry?
We got started actually from Cade. He was chosen for a small part in a film and we all visited him on set and we all loved it. We decided to give it a try and once we did we knew it’s what we all wanted to do!
2. Vaun, what was your time on set like working on The Blacklist?
The Blacklist was one of my top shoots of all time. The cast and crew were so nice and I got to film a scene with a helicopter crash!
3. What was the experience like filming the movie Goldfinch?
Goldfinch was a very fun shoot and true to life playing a high schooler.
4. How do you enjoy working with your younger brothers on projects?
It’s always fun when we all get ion the same show. It’s great because you get to share the experience with each other.
5. Beau, what was the best part of working on Ray Donovan?
Ray Donovan was great I got to play a younger version of one of the main characters. The best part was meeting the cast and that’s my mom’s favorite show!
6. How did you enjoy filming for Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt?
Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is one of my favorites. It’s such a funny show that’s probably one of the best times I’ve had on a set…lots of laughs!
7. How do you prepare for auditions?
We practice a lot! I just make sure I have everything memorized and try my best not to get nervous!
8. Cade, what was your time on set like filming Strangers?
Strangers was a lot of fun. The episode I filmed was all about a party so it didn’t even feel like work!
9. Do you have a favorite part of filming your episode of Gotham?
Yes! Gotham was awesome I was playing a kidnapped orphan. The coolest part was the gunfire and how realistic it was.
10. What was the experience like doing red carpet interviews for iHeart Media at KTUphoria?
This was hands down my best job so far! I loved going in a different direction and working a red carpet. Sting and Shaggy were so nice but the best was the Backstreet Boys singing an a cappella version of their new song for me, Don’t go breaking my heart..they had never performed it anywhere yet so that was a huge honor. I hope to do more of that in the future! I loved it!!
