2018 – Lucas Broitman

Lucas Broitman played the role of ‘Young Franco’ on General Hospital this year. Outside of the soap he has done commercials for C Spire and Web.com, and more!

1. How did you get started in the industry?
People kept telling my mom that I needed an agent. So, she got me one.

2. What was your time on set like filming your C Spire commercial?
We filmed the commercial outside and it was really cold! It also rained. Everyone was really nice and tried to keep us warm.

3. How did you enjoy shooting Web.com?
I loved it and had so much fun! I wish I could shoot commercials every day. They’re fun!

4. What was it like to be part of such a long running show like General Hospital?
I loved it so much!! My Mom said she used to watch it all the time so I was really excited to be on it. She still watches it.

5. How did you enjoy filming with Dexter Hobert?
It was fun working with Dexter. I hope we can work together again.

6. What was it like working with Greg Evigan?
He is the nicest person ever! I loved working with him!

7. Did you get to meet any of the other cast while you were shooting?
I saw a lot of the cast but Finola Hughes took the time to say hello to Dexter and me and talked to us for a few minutes. She’s so nice!

8. How many days went into filming all of your scenes that aired?
4 days. I filmed 5 episodes but 2 of them were filmed on the same day.

9. How did you react seeing your episodes air on television?
I was proud. It was so weird but exciting to see myself on TV. One of the playground aides at school even saw me on it and called me over to ask if I was on “General Hospital”!

10. Are there any other projects you have worked on so far?
I was the photo double for the lead boy in the Netflix movie “Bird Box” with Sandra Bullock. It comes out on December 21st 2018. It was an amazing experience! I even had my own dressing room in the trailer!
