Gabriel Sporman plays the role of Kelly Spencer on The Bold and the Beautiful. He has appeared in multiple episodes and has a new project he recently worked on too.

1. How did Gabriel get started in the industry?
I’ve been a working professional dancer and actress in Los Angeles for years so it was a fun and natural thing for me to do with and for my kids. Also, a couple of my other mom friends had done it with their babies so I had a good referral to a great agency.

2. How did you feel when Gabriel was cast to play Kelly?
Excited! I knew we were lucky to be chosen since they met quite a few babies and it was the first audition I took him to. He was just 4 weeks old when they cast him.

3. What is it like to have Gabriel be part of an internationally airing soap like The Bold and the Beautiful?
Really fun. I had no idea how incredibly passionate and loyal B&B fans are! We received a lot of fun messages and feedback from them.

4. What was the best part of filming with Jacqueline MacInnes Wood?
She’s very sweet and handled Gabriel effortlessly despite not having babies of her own yet. We are excited for her that she’s expecting her first boy!

5. How did Gabriel enjoy working with Scott Clifton?
He’s great. Super personable and you can tell he’s a great and patient Dad. One of the first days on set they were trying to take pictures of him holding Gabriel. At this point in the day Gabriel needed a nap so he was being a bit fussy and Scott knew exactly what to do to calm him and still get the shot.

6. What was the experience like filming with Don Diamont?
Don is clearly a pro – actor and Daddy. Gabriel had never met him before they shot a very long scene together. I was concerned because again; it was nearing nap time for Gabriel and he was yawning as we were walking out on set. So as I handed him over to Don, I felt compelled to tell him how Gabriel likes to be held if he gets fussy. Don said, “don’t worry he won’t get fussy” and he confidently took him and knew exactly how to hold him and readjust him as he got through a very long emotional monologue. I was very impressed with both Don and Gabriel that day. They only needed one take and it was beautiful.

7. How was it decided which baby would film which scenes?
We would just try to alternate fairly between the babies so they all had a good amount of screen time.

8. Were there any funny behind the scenes moments happen while Gabriel was on set?
No not really. It was just a really nice and low key set. One day I brought my Dad, Gabriel’s real Grandpa with me because he happen to be in town from Michigan and the crew was so kind. They let him sit out on set and watch everything. He got a kick out of talking to the crew, seeing how it all works and how many people are involved behind the scenes.

9. Do you have a favorite episode he got to film?
The episode where he met his Grandpa Bill was so great. As his mom, I am thrilled I have that footage to look back on. They were so sweet together in it.

10. Has Gabriel done any other projects?
We just shot a scene for an episode of VEEP. Watch for him in season 7.
