2018 – Gabriel Sky

Gabriel Sky played a classmate of Charlotte and Aiden on General Hospital this year. He has also worked on Man With A Plan, done a commercial for Citi Bank and more!

1. How did you get started in the industry?
I don’t remember because I was too young. My mom works in the movies as a stunt woman and stunt coordinator, so I have been around the sets with her. My first job was a commercial for Facebook I think. My Nana was visiting from Vermont and there was an audition for a family with their grandma so we brought her with us to the audition and we got it! It was really fun and crazy for her…coming to Hollywood and all!

2. What was your shoot for your Citi Bank commercial like?
It was fun. My dad was really funny acting like a dinosaur! Actually, he really surprised us at the audition so much he was great as a dinosaur! They made him do so many kind of dinosaurs that when he finally came home he had no more voice! that commercial is still showing on TV and it’s been more than 9 months! I think people really like it.

3. How did you like filming with your family?
I liked hanging on my dad’s leg. My neck got sore after a few hours of looking up to him laughing. Unfortunately my older brother Raphael wasn’t able to do the commercial with us because my dad only has two legs and my sister Jophielle and I are the lightest. Jophielle did really good and she was only 3. Everyone asks who is the actor who plays the dad… well, actually he is a high-wire walker or catches on fire since he is now also a stuntman and not usually an actor! But now that we are in Hollywood, we all work in the movies and commercials and we like it! We left our big house in France for a while and now we live in a big old bus…it’s very fun.

4. What was it like to see it air on television for the first time?
Actually , we don’t have tv really so we watched it on YouTube. It was cool. I noticed something that wasn’t supposed to be on the commercial…in the corner we can see the plastic on the stairs of the house where we were filming.

5. What was the best part of doing your Red Nose Day photoshoot?
Well I was shooting with a scary looking guy that was covered with tattoos (Danny Trejo)…but he actually was fun…everybody is fun when they put a red nose on! Mine kept on falling down though!

6. How did you enjoy working on Man With A Plan?
It was exciting because I was a stuntman and it was my first SAG job so now I will be a real actor soon. Also my brother visited me on the set and he was very impressed that Joey from Friends was there.

7. What was your time on set like filming for General Hospital?
It was very cool because we did a scene in a classroom and we watched a fun science experiment and we also got seeds to keep so we can grow a garden at home.

8. How did you like working in a soap opera environment?
What is a soap opera?

9. Who have been some of your favorite people to work with?
Kristen Stewart. I just played her son on the movie Against All Enemies that is not out yet. She was really nice and friendly. I liked her so much that while we were on set I typed a poem for her on an old typewriter that was part of the movie. Actually I had never seen a typewriter before. I really want one now.

10. What has been your favorite project to do so far?
Well actually THAT was my favorite job because I had a real acting part with lines and I got to work with a famous actress who has a star on Hollywood Boulevard. I looked for it and found her hands and feet at the Chinese theater.Someday I will have one too.

Is there anything else you would like to add?
Yeah… I want to be a good actor later but I would also like to be a singer and a musician. I don’t think I will be a stuntman or a high-wire walker. My brother probably will do that. But for sure we have fun.
