Star-Kidz

Gabriel Maddox Maier has done episodes of both Days of Our Lives and The Young and the Restless. This year he has been busy with Diamond Street, How May We Hate You? and more!

1. What was your experience like filming Diamond Street?
Working with USC director, Eddie Mattola. His passion for this project was evident every day on set. And he liked to joke around with the kids too!

2. What was your time on set like working on Cool Dad?
Meeting my co-star, Cole. We played soccer kids and we had fun in between takes, kicking the soccer ball around!

3. How did you prepare your lines and comedic timing for the role?
My acting coach, Suzanne Gutierrez (and best friend of my mom) coached me and she’s really funny! She’s a working actress herself!

4. Do you prefer doing comedy or drama?
I think I have a knack for comedy more so than drama. I’m a total goofball.

5. What is one of the coolest things to happen on set for one of your projects?
Got to hang out with Jerry O’Connell. He’s a cool dude!

6. Who have been some of your biggest inspirations in the industry?
As I’m getting older, I get to watch a wide array of movies now. I’m admiring Leo DiCaprio. Heard he started out as a child actor. Hope I can have his career someday!

7. What was the best part of filming How May We Hate You?
Making new friends on set, especially Cole. It was a very short shoot, and Kraft services was amazing!!

8. What else have you been up to this year?
It’s been on and off busy. Got to go on some cool horror feature auditions. Hope to book one one day!!
