2018 – Ainsley Crouse

Ainsley Course is a young actress from the New York City and Philadelphia area. Since our last Q&A with her she has worked with Martha Stewart, did a series of commercials for Pillsbury, a pilot for Comedy Central and more!

1. How did it feel to be back working at QVC?
I LOVE QVC so much! I have been working there since I was 5 years old and it is always so fun. The workers are so nice to me and each job is different and I love riding my Darth Vader suitcase
through the halls.

2. Do you ever get nervous filming the segments?
Not really…My mom always tells me to just be myself.

3. What was the experience like filming your Martha Stewart video?
I was so excited to meet Martha. My mom has always been a fan so I knew who she was, but didn’t quite know how big of a deal it was until after. It was a full day of work, but the people made it so fun for me and gave me lots of Martha Stewart crafts to go home with. I even got to pick items out from the set to take home. I picked out the dog pillow. There was a big huge stuffed teddy bear that I wanted, but my mom said No Way.

4. What was it like to work with Martha herself?
She was really kind to me and gave me an autographed book. She sat down to lunch with me and showed me all of her homes in the book. She has a lot of them.

5. How did you enjoy your commercial/print shoot for Sesame Place?
That was one of the best jobs ever. I got paid to ride roller coasters! The kids I worked with were really awesome and nice.

6. Do you have a favorite look you shot for Heely’s?
All of them! This was my most favorite job ever. It was a 3 day shoot and we actually shot in the Martha Stewart studios. I really liked that they made me my own personal robot. We called him
Charles.

7. What was it like working with your Mom for Pillsbury?
It was super fun working with my mom and I laughed when it was her time for hair and makeup. They made her hair all curly and puffy.

8. What was your time on set like filming Drunk Girl High Guy for Comedy Central?
It was so neat because we got to work in the subway museum in Brooklyn. They made it look like we were on a real moving subway, but we weren’t. It was also late at night so I got to stay up late.

9. Who have been some of your favorite people to work with?
My mom and Martha Stewart. Also, the people at QVC.

10. What has been your favorite project to do this year?
I did a commercial for FTD Flower delivery back in January and it was freezing cold that day. It ended up airing during the Super Bowl and Olympics and that was cool.
