2016 – TK Weaver

 

TK Weaver plays the role of Danny Morgan on General Hospital. This year he has also been seen in a skit for the ESPYS and to keep up to date make sure to follow him on Twitter and Instagram.

 

 

1. What was it like filming a skit for the ESPYS?

It was cool to be asked to be there but I was really nervous. I had a couple funny scenes that were cut but I heard we were lucky it aired at all!

2. What was the experience like filming with John Cena?

He is so nice. He is so big and friendly. I actually got a little shy around him.

3. What was your time on set like filming Upended?

That was my first role and I loved it. The cast was amazing, supportive and helpful. The best coaching I ever got was from Amy Landecker who played my mom in the movie. I got to hang out with Ian Harvey a lot too. We hula hooped together. The whole experience was so much fun. I still keep in touch with them and director Tessa Blake when I can. I was really lucky they chose me for the role.

4. How did you react when you found out you were cast to play Danny?

I had a feeling since Mark had taken me back to meet Frank during my audition but my mom said that I shouldn’t get my hopes up. I got lucky that they liked my acting and look as Danny and when they hired me I was jumping around so excited. I love working there still.

5. What has the experience been like working on General Hospital?

It has been wonderful. I’m hoping they don’t age the character for awhile. I’d like to stay there forever but I know that is probably not going to happen. I’ll be disappointed when they change the character but I’m enjoying it now. I love the cast. My GH parents, grandmother and all the kids I have met. I just love everything about it.

6. Whats it like getting to work with Kelly Monaco?

I can’t believe I get to work with her. She is really smart and helps me a lot. She is sweet and beautiful. I couldn’t have a better tv mom.

7. How do you enjoy filming with Nancy Lee Grahn?

She is so funny and nice. She is fun to work with. She seems really young to be a grandma.

8. What is the best part of working with Billy Miller?

I have only met him a couple times but he is super cool. Last time we filmed together we talked about football and he gave me a soft football with a bear inside. I sleep with it now.

9. Is there anyone you would like to work with that you haven’t gotten to yet?

I’d love to work with my sister Devin sometime. It would be cool to meet Nicolas Bechtel and work with him sometime.

10. What is your favorite scene that you have filmed this year?

The GH wedding scene was my favorite. I got to meet a bunch of people and have cake. Plus I got to meet and spend the day with Hudson West and we get along really well.
