2016 – Ryder and Gunner Gadbois

1. How do Gunner and Ryder enjoy auditioning?

They absolutely love it! They are such great listeners at auditions, too!

2. What was the experience like filming their Pampers commercial?

It was so much fun. It was filmed at a gorgeous Beverly Hills mansion and the boys got to meet other adorable babies who they are still friends with today!

3. What is a typical day on set at The Young and the Restless like for Gunner and Ryder?

We typically arrive and head to the cafe on the lot for some snacks or food (and Starbucks for me) then we head to their dressing room where all of the toddlers who are filming that day usually gather together to play and share food. We get them dressed then head to get their hair done. The kids all play until their scenes are up!

4. What do they do to pass the time between filming scenes?

They play with all the other kids either in a dressing room or the school room with their amazing set teacher, Linda!

5. How do they enjoy filming with Ryan and Holden?

They love Ryan and Holden. They always want to do what the older boys are doing, you can tell they look up to them. Whenever the 4 boys are together in the dressing room, it gets a little wild!

6. How did Gunner and Ryder enjoy working with Cali May Kinder?

They absolutely love Cali! They were always so excited to see her when they arrived. I remember during one scene, they hadn’t seen her yet and she walked on the stage with “Chloe” and one of the boys yelled “look it’s Cali!” They had to redo the take!

7. What is it like filming with Elizabeth Hendrickson?

She is such a sweet and kind soul. She always makes a point of talking to all the kids and playing with them.

8. Was it hard for the boys to film the scenes for Adam’s funeral?

I’m not sure, they did it so effortlessly! I think they definitely played off the emotion in the room and that seemed to make them a little sad on film but they were fine once they were off the set.

9. How did Gunner and Ryder react to going to YR without Justin there?

At first they kept asking where tv dad was. I just kept saying “I don’t think he’s going to be here today” after several days of asking they finally started asking if “uncle nick” would be there.

10. Do you have a favorite scene that they’ve done this year?

Gosh, That’s so hard. So many scenes they have filmed this year have been so important and great for many different reasons. I especially love the holiday episodes because it’s so fun having so many people on set and the boys eat up all the attention they get.
