Paige Ollivier played the role of Josslyn Jacks on General Hospital. Recently she has been seen in a Paw Patrol commercial, a video for Barbie, and more! To keep up to date make sure to keep checking back here at the site.
1. What was the experience like working on your video for Barbie?
I love Barbie and the crew. It’s so much fun. They have the best hair, make up, and wardrobe. It’s like a big family on set there and they always have amazing toys to play with!
2. How different was it to film compared to a commercial?
On a commercial everything is scripted and they tell you exactly what to do. But on the Barbie shoot it was very relaxed. I got to make up my own lines and just play with Barbie however I wanted. I love shooting commercials, but shooting the videos are awesome too.
3. What was your time on set like filming your Paw Patrol commercial?
It was great! I got to film with my friend Nate and we always have so much fun together. After that shoot I even got to keep a Paw Patrol toy! That was also my first voice over experience and I loved it.
4. How did you react to seeing it on television?
It was so exciting! We even took a video of me standing next to it. Friends saw it from school and that was cool too.
5. What was your shoot for Under Amour like?
That shoot was fun because it was at a park and we got to play soccer, which is one of my favorite hobbies! My friend Maddie was there shooting too and we got to run around and the clothes were super comfy!
6. How did you enjoy shooting for UGG?
It was really really fun! I loved it and I love all their shoes! They had really creative costumes and we got to shoot in unique places. I got to go behind the scenes on the first day at this cool old theater in LA. On the second day my wrangler, Mark, was super fun and my friend Sadie and I had fun pretending during the shoot. They are so cool at UGG and really relaxed.
7. What is the hardest s part of auditioning?
I get really nervous and shaky before I go in. It’s hard when there are lines and I don’t want to forget them: it’s a lot of pressure and I try to relax by breathing and just have fun.
8. Who have been some of your favorite people to work with recently?
I always love to meet new friends on set so it’s all great! Nate and Sadie were great because they are my age but I loved working with Kendall at Ugg too (she was 4).
9. What has been your favorite recent project to work on?
UGG was the most recent project and I loved meeting Sadie and hanging out.
10. What else have you been up to this year?
I am shooting for Crazy 8 in Dec and my soccer team finished their season and my basketball team won our championship game. I’m also doing the Lion King Jr play and am really excited about my solo!
Is there anything else you would like to add?
I love making my own movie trailers and hope that one day I can make my own movie!
Thanks for this opportunity!
