Leilani Brosnan filmed for an episode of The Neighbors. This year she has been seen for Old Navy, Guess, and more! To keep up to date make sure to like her page on Facebook and follow her on Instagram.

1. How did you enjoy filming your Raise Our Voices video for Barbie?

“Raise Our Voices” for Barbie was really fun to shoot with all the girls and I thought the music video turned out really well. At first I felt quite nervous when I saw what great dancers the other girls were and I had to just work on my confidence a little and just go out there and do the best job I could. After this experience my Mom decided I should take more dance classes and I have been doing that ever since!

2. What has been your favorite outfit to shoot for Guess?

Wow! They’re all great but the Back Cover shot for the Spring 2016 catalogue that they used of me has to be a favorite since I got to wear a cute bikini and a lei and my name after all is Leilani! My mom really liked the outfit and photo of me with the flower covering one eye from the fall campaign.

3. Which type of project do you enjoy working on most out of print, commercial and television?

That’s a tough question…but I do more print than anything else so I guess I’ll go with that. Print jobs often pay by the hour so sometimes we are in and out in a few hours.

4. What is the best part of working for Old Navy?

I have worked for Old Navy 3 or 4 times. The best time was when we flew to San Francisco, stayed in Marin County, and then shot the first day in the small quaint town of Bolinas Bay. The site was a “designer” farm house with huge grounds outside of rolling hills of grass where all the kids got to play between shots. The Old Navy staff is always really nice and the food is really good. Plus it’s always fun to see familiar faces.

5. What has it been like to see your images up in their stores?

It’s always a thrill and of course my Mom makes sure they save them for her whenever possible. We have tons of these posters stored in our garage in case we ever have a use for them. It’s also sort of fun when friends at school say they saw me in the Old Navy windows or behind the counters and send us texts with the photos – sometimes from Vegas, Canada or Europe.

6. How did you enjoy shooting your Target commercial?

It was really fun because I got to jump up and down popping bubbles while filming and run around with the other girls on set. Plus Target always has the best Craft Services – my favorite!

7. What was it like shooting for Designer Shoe Warehouse?

I just loved the shoes I wore in one of the shots but then we couldn’t find my size when we went to try and buy them later in the store! The photographers were also great to work with at that shoot so we got to goof off in the photos!

8. What was the experience like filming your Disney Princess commercial?

It was a two day shoot and the first day we filmed at a gorgeous house in Pasadena with a huge pool. The crew wore wet suits and had underwater cameras and equipment to film me underwater as I did back flips, diving and spirals. Unfortunately though, the water was a bit old. My Mom panicked slightly when they asked me to do these tricks since we didn’t know about them ahead of time but luckily I was able to do them ok.

The second day we filmed in Malibu at the beach and I was wearing an Ariel Princess mermaid dress and they had me sitting on a rock while they filmed me as the waves crashed over my head to match the scene in the video. Finally, they had to stop filming because I was soaking wet! Unfortunately this scene was cut from the final clip so we never got to see it…show biz!

9. Who have been some of your favorite people to work with this year?

The photographer for GUESS is named Rus Anson from Barcelona and not only is she an amazing photographer, she is also an amazing person. She is just so nice to all the kids and makes every shot so fun. I also always enjoy the jobs with Wranglers whose job it is to make the kids laugh a lot in shots.

10. What has been your favorite project to work on this year and why?

I love the GUESS shoots – they are always done at the most interesting and exciting places. They also have the best catering people so the food is amazing too. Everyone is always so nice. Their shoots feel like a vacation…and not like work at all.

Is there anything else you would like to add?

I love being a model and actor because I always have so much fun on set and get to wear cute clothes and meet nice people in fun settings. Looking forward to more fun in 2017!
