1. What was your time on set like filming Instant Mom?

Instant Mom was a truly different experience because it was my first time working in front of a live audience. This was really cool because I could really see and feel the reaction from the audience. This gave me validation that my acting was funny and people enjoyed our performances.

2. What was it like filming your episodes of Grey’s Anatomy?

Grey’s Anatomy was great. I played the role Ethan and was the only kid on set for 6 continuous episodes. The cast and crew treated me great and I never felt out of place. Kevin McKidd (Dr. Hunt) has kids around my age. He truly had fun with me and treated me like one of his own.

3. How did you prepare for the role?

To prepare for the role of Ethan, whose parents were in a car accident, I just thought of my mom who had surgery on the same day as my audition. I thought of my mom having complication with the surgery and it truly helped me performance. (My mom was fine by the way!)

4. What was the best part of working with Kevin McKidd?

Kevin McKidd is so friendly and gives great acting advice. We’d play soccer in between takes.

5. How did you enjoy working with Jennifer Bassey?

Jennifer Bassey can really cry! She let me in on her technique for crying — think of a lost pet!

6. What was the experience like going to Africa to film Blended?

Working in South Africa on Blend was truly a blessing. It was one of the coolest places I’ve ever been. While shooting Blended, I became aware of the devastating poaching problem in South Africa. When I got back to the States, I started working with the Los Angeles Zookeepers Association to help raise awareness about Rhino poaching around the world. Is truly sad to know that these magnificent animals are being killed for their horns. This summer, I had the opportunity to work with Paul Blackthorne on a movie called Daisy Winters. He too is helping support the “Stop Rhino Poaching” movement. The more people we tell about this travesty the more likely we are to stop it.

7. How did you enjoy working with Drew Berrymore?

8. What was it like filming with Adam Sandler?

9. Do you have any funny stories from the set you can share?

Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler were fantastic to work with. When you send 3 months together you become really comfortable with one another. Drew would accidentally say bad word and she started a “swear jar” for herself (didn’t really help!) and Adam was cracking jokes everyday. I think he unintentionally gave me a full semester of SEX ED in 6th grade.

10. Do you have a favorite job you’ve done?

My favorite job was Blended. I just wish that Pokemon Go was created before Blended started filming — I would have caught a crap ton of Pokemon in South Africa!
