Ellewillow “Elle” Campagna filmed a season two episode of The Jim Gaffigan Show as Mary. She has shot for Quaker, been seen in the short film DoDo TiTi and more! To keep up to date make sure to follow her on Twitter.
1.How did you get started in the industry?
I was at a print casting and on our way out a lady with a clipboard asked if we were there for the TV commercial casting; I saw a few girls who looked similar to age and look as Elle so I said yes! and that was my 1st booking and then I signed with an agency!
2. What was the best part of filming The Haunting Of?
My transformation to a really creepy ghost girl. The make up process was so intense – those TV make up people really can make anything look believable.
3. How did you enjoy shooting for Quaker?
It was awesome. It was during cold weather holidays at a huge house in Greenwich, CT. They had the fireplace going and were drinking hot cocoa which was so festive and cozy. Also there was an adorable actor cat.
4. What was your time on set like working on DoDo TiTi?
It was intense, hard work, great experience and fun too. The entire cast and crew lived all together in a big house with huge backyard in Jackson, NJ. The assistant producers were making grocery runs for my favorite snacks and breakfast items like fruit loops, pizza and ice cream – how nutritious! LOL
5. How did you prepare for playing Christy?
We had several rehearsals with cast and director before the actual shoot so we got to know each other and the director gave me some things to think about with my character. She also took some of the choices that I made for her and really tried to incorporate them into her direction.
6. What does it feel like to have the film win multiple awards at film festivals?
I got to go to a bunch of screenings and parties – I felt grown up.
7. What was your experience like working on The Jim Gaffigan Show?
It was 1 episode. I had a line “Tag you’re it” and all the kids had to chase me – it was fun.
8. How did you enjoy filming with Jim Gaffigan?
He’s a nice person.
9. Who have been some of your favorite people to work with?
Chris Rock and Michael Watkins.
10. What has been your favorite project to work on?
The Blacklist, season 4. Nothing short of amazing working with director Michael Watkins. I played the role of Young Natalie Luca in episode 12. I think it will air in late December or early January. Tune in!
