2016 – Dax Randall

1. How did you get started acting?

By auditioning for commercials.

2. What is your favorite part of auditioning?

Getting to pretend to do different things or be different characters.

3. What was your time on set like filming your United Health Care commercial?

It was fun because they were really nice and followed me around with cameras while I played.

4. How did you enjoy shooting for Crazy 8?

I loved it. They were nice each time I was there and it was fun being with all of the other kids.

5. How did you react when you found out you booked The Young and the Restless?

I just got really happy and excited because it was my first TV show.

6. What was it like filming with Kristoff St. John?

Awesome! He is the best because he’s so nice and helped me do my best in every scene. It was like having my real dad.

7. How did you enjoy working with Christel Khalil?

She’s really nice and made me feel great about how I did.

8. What was the best part of working with McKenna Roberts and Aidan Clark?

They’re both so nice and helped me know when to be quiet on set if we were off camera. They’re really fun to be with too.

9. Did you do anything special to watch your first episode on TV?

Oh yes. My dad made popcorn and my two brothers, my mom and my dad got under blankets on the couch and watched our scenes.

10. Is there anyone in the cast you hope to get a chance to work with next year?

Yes. Everyone! It was the best time ever! And for sure McKenna and Kristoff again.
