2016 – Ayden Hernandez

 

Ayden Hernandez is a young actor and model from the New York City area. He has been seen on Blindspot, Gotham, and more. To keep up to date make sure to follow him on Instagram.

 

 

1. How did you get started in the industry?

Well I’ve always wanted to model or act. Every time I would watch the Nickelodeon shows I would always say to my parents ” omg I could do that”. So after a long time of trying to find an agency to sign with we finally found Stellar-NYC and signed with them. Best decision ever.

2. What was your shoot for Fresh Direct like?

It was my first Print Job so I was nervous and didn’t know what to expect, but once I got to set and was greeted by all the nice crew I felt right at home and not to mention the food smelt so good.

3. How did you enjoy shooting for Heely’s?

Heelys was more like just hanging out with friends it didn’t at all feel like a job, we just rolled around and had fun. We even meet Martha Stewart and she was so nice, her studio was right next door to ours and she just stopped by to see what was all the fun going on.

4. What was it like to walk the runway at the Posh Kids Magazine Fashion Carnival?

I couldn’t sleep the night before, I was so nervous because I had never done runway before. I practiced a whole lot and just went for it. After I was done I felt so accomplished. It felt great and I would definitely do it again.

5. What was your day on set like filming Gotham?

Gotham I must say is one of my favorite sets to work on. I always get to work with and meet some great cast members and they are so nice and friendly. Plus it helps that it’s my favorite show to watch with my Dad and Brother.

6. What was the best part of working on your episode of Blindspot?

The food! The food was so good and just everywhere and since we had to shot a night scene and it was in the middle of winter. The tasty hot chocolate and heated bus was definitely awesome.

7. How did you like working with Jaimie Alexander?

She is by far the nicest and sweetest person. She made sure that while I was on set that I had hand and feet warmers. She took a genuine interest and showed so much concern for me while on set. She took time out to talk with me and encouraged me to keep going in this business and not let anyone tell me I can’t do something. Having the amazing opportunity to work with her was definitely memorable.

8. What was your time on set like filming Collateral Beauty?

Filming was fun. I got to ice skate around for hours lol it was so much fun even thou it was very cold and we filmed all the way into the late hours. It was fun and the cast was super nice and friendly especially Kate Winslet and Jacob Latimore and Enrique Murciano who plays my dad.

9. Who have been some of your favorite people to work with?

I enjoyed working g with Jamie Alexander from Blindspot she was super nice and very caring. I also had a blast working with Cory Micheal Smith who’s plays Nygma on Gotham.

10. What has been your favorite project to work on?

My favorite project to work on has been an online school series. it was so much fun and being around some really amazing people.

Is there anything else you would like to add?

Being in this industry takes a lot of hard work and dedication and most importantly supportive parents. I love what I do.
