2016 – Anthony Stegner

 

Anthony Stegner appeared in the second season of The Jim Gaffigan Show. He has shot for Toys R Us, worked on the series Falling Water and more! To keep up to date make sure to like his management’s page on Facebook and check back here at the site.

 

1. How did you get started in the industry?

After many people including strangers suggested to my parents, I would be a good fit for the industry, my parents talk to friends and got some great recommendations.

2. What was your first booking?

My first booking was fit modeling for Gap. They tailored a suit using my measurements. I love the ladies I worked with Gap.

3. What is the hardest part of doing fit modeling?

I enjoyed fit modeling. I tried on lots of cloths, and played in a room with lots of toys. There were many people in the room, watching how the cloths moved on my body. There really wasn’t any hard part, but if I had to pick one, it would be changing cloths multiple times in a session.

4. If you could work on any project with your sister what would it be?

I recently worked on the Jim Gaffigan show, with a dozen kids. I would like to do a show like that again, and have my sister involved with it.

5. What is your favorite part of auditioning?

Traveling to NYC, is very exciting. I love meeting new people and seeing different parts of the city. If I continue to stay in this industry, I would love to live in NYC.

6. How did you enjoy shooting for the Toys R Us Big Book?

Shooting the TRU Big Book, was so fun. I got to be dressed as one of my favorite characters, Darth Vader, and play with the new light saber. Pretty much any 6 1/2 year olds dream. The set was decorated for Christmas, and Christmas is one of my favorite times of year, so naturally I was excited and had a blast!

7. What was your experience like working on The Jim Gaffigan Show?

So fun! There were so many kids on set that day, and we all played duck-duck-goose in between takes. The makeup people put fake dirt on all of us kids. I remember we all were so excited about that, we ran over to the mirror to see how we all looked with our fake dirty faces. Jim Gaffigan, was so nice, as was everyone on set.

8. What was it like filming with all the other kids?

We all loved it, it was a really fun day on set. Loud at times, but we all smiled all day.

9. Who have been some of your favorite people to work with?

Jim Gaffigan was great to work with and also Lizzie Brochere on Falling Water was great to work with. They all helped me so much on set, and I learned so much from each of them.

10. Is there anything you can share about your role in Falling Water?

Unfortunately, I can not share anything about Falling Water. I wouldn’t want to ruined it for the fans. The writers for Falling Water, have done such a great job. I would be sad if I ruined it for them. But I will tell you, the restaurant Marcello’s, which is in almost every episode, was not a real restaurant, it was part of the set.

Is there anything else you would like to add?

Yes, I want to thank the great staff at CP Talent for helping me live my dreams. I want to thank my parents for their support, and a big thank you for my Nanna, and Grandma for helping me on and off set.
