1. How did you enjoy performing with Lyrics for Life?

It was very fun and I liked meeting new friends.

2. What has the experience been like being a part of the Children’s Festival Chorus of Pittsburgh?

Well, I didn’t get to do much because I booked a Broadway tour right after I auditioned and was accepted and started traveling and then I started working in NYC so I have not been home in almost 3 years.

3. What was your time on set like filming The Hunt with John Walsh?

I had a lot of fun checking out the house we shot in and I got to smash a pinata a million times.

4. How do you feel when you are up on stage performing for crowds of people?

I feel happy and love giving joy to the people watching.

5. What was the audition process like for Once?

I had to fly in to NYC the day before my family was leaving for our beach vacation. When I was there I had to sing and do improv. It was super fun.

6. What was your first show as Ivanka in Once like?

It was very exciting and I was a little nervous but I was so happy. I felt so lucky that I was the one they chose.

7. How did you enjoy caroling with the cast at the Fairmont Royal York hotel in Toronto?

That was amazing. There were so many people there and the hotel is beautiful. It was fun to see all of the people smiling and enjoying the music.

8. Do you have a favorite city that you performed in?

My favorite city was Providence, RI because we opened there and my birthday was there the 1st year. It was a great town. Our hotel had the best beds we had in almost 2 years of touring.

9. What was the most challenging part of doing the tour? The best part?

The most challenging was traveling on airplanes, especially to Tokyo. The best part was seeing so many new places and getting to know what it was like to live in other countries. I did so many things it was so awesome.

10. What is your favorite project that you have done?

I think Iowa was my favorite because I had solos and lots of lines and I had to play more than one character. It was a really weird show that made people think and I liked that people had so many questions after seeing it. I also liked that I got to open and close the show.

Is there anything else you would like to add?

You can hear me on Rhianna’s new AntiDiary commercials and I will be in two short films shooting this winter! I am super excited to see what else happens this year.

We’d like to thank Kolette for participating in this year’s Holiday Q&A Event!
