Justin Tanimoto is a young actor/model from the Los Angeles area. He’s been seen on Just Add Magic, in a commercial for Samsung, and recently did a shoot at Disney! To keep up to date make sure to keep checking back at our Facebook.

 

1. How did you get started in the industry?

My mom submitted some photos of me to a manager and then she got me my agent.

2. What was your first booking and how did it feel being on set for the first time?

My first booking was when I was younger so I don’t really remember it but I know I had fun with all my friends.

3. Do you have a favorite part of filming your Disney Parks holiday commercial?

Just being at Disneyland at the holiday time and all the excitement. Plus they pulled me aside with a friend and we got to go and see Santa Claus.

4. What was the experience like working on your Samsung commercial?

Samsung we filmed in LA but had to make it look like it was the streets of New York.

5. How did you enjoy filming Just Add Magic?

I always enjoy working and meeting new people and making friends. There are some really great actors in that pilot.

6. What was your time on set like working on Lotus?

Lotus was my second short film and we are still good friends with the lady that played my mom in the movie.

7. Do you ever help your younger brother prepare for his auditions? If so, what do you do?

Yes I try to give him direction but my mom tells me to leave him alone…

8. Have you ever gotten to work with your brother? If not, what type of project would you like to do with him one day?

I have not worked with my brother yet on a job, but I hope to get to in the future maybe on a cool commercial or something

9. Who have been some of your favorite people to work with?

The making of the Kidz Bop 26 has been one of my favorites thus far. All the friends I have made and get to see them this year when they are touring CA.

10. What has been your favorite project to work on so far?

My favorite part so far I have to say was Sony Playstation got to play the new Playstation.
