Evan, Luke, and Ryan Dodge are young actors/models from the New York City area. The boys have been seen on The Goodwife, and for companies such as Stage Stores and Target. To keep up to date make sure to keep checking back at our Facebook.
1. How did the boys get started in the industry?
We were shopping in Costco when the twins got scouted. They were only 8 weeks old but I waited until they were 3 months to send in pictures because they had colic. Evan was accepted by the agent at that point as well (he was 2).
2. What was the experience for Luke and Ryan to film for The Good Wife?
The Good Wife was tons of fun. I took my mom with me as she is a huge die hard fan. The boys had their own dressing room and all the cast and crew were incredibly nice and accommodating. We had a wonderful baby nurse on set that helped us through the ropes!
3. How did they like working with Martha Plimpton?
Martha Plimpton was wonderful. Mostly Luke was in the scene and he cuddled with her most of the morning.
4. Evan, do you have a favorite shoot you have done for Stage Stores?
Evan loves the funny photographer that brings the whoopie cushion! He just always has fun on set.
5. What was the best part of shooting for Target?
Best part of shooting for Target is that they make Evan pancakes! He loved the snowsuit shoot when he got to play with the fake snowballs!
6. How did you enjoy shooting for D La Repubblica Magazine?
D La Repubblica was a long day but Evan really enjoyed meeting the police officer on set. He also loved the trailer he was able to hang out in between scene changes. He modeled with Alison Nix from Ford Models who was wonderful with him!
7. What was Ryan’s time on set for for Uniqlo like?
Ryan went to Uniqlo with his Mimi so always has fun with her. He did tons of outfits and was the one trying to encourage a shy little girl on to the set.
8. How did Ryan and Luke enjoy filming Orange is the New Black?
Luke did all the filming on OITNB. He got to be crazy and eat chips so was in his glory! The director told him he was a “TV star” which he then repeated for days on end….
9. Who have been some of your favorite people the boys have worked with?
Martha Plimpton was wonderful and so was the whole crew! That was one of the best days we’ve had!
10. What has been your favorite project they have done so far?
Evan loved shooting for Amscan! What kid wouldn’t like wearing super hero costumes!
Is there anything you would like to add?
This business has its ups and downs but we take everything day by day and just enjoy the success and be humbled by our opportunities. Thanks Star Kidz for all of the support!
We’d like to thank Evan, Luke, Ryan, and their family for participating in this year’s February Q&A Event!
