Eva Bella played Sienna on Parenthood. This year she has been seen on Mad Men and has been busy lending her voice to the series Shimmer and Shine! To keep up to date make sure to follow her on Twitter and Instagram.
1. What was the experience like filming your episode of Mad Men?
When I filmed my episode of Mad Men it was really amazing because to see how structured the show was was just incredible. I did my scene with Jon Hamm and he was just so kind and during lunch he asked me a few questions about Frozen and just to be able to work with someone that was so professional and kind was really amazing.
2. How did you enjoy working on Feed Me?
Working on Feed Me was really fun because I got to just be surrounded by such great and really funny people and even though it didn’t get picked up it was a great experience. I would have to say my favorite person to work on that show was Toks Olagundoye because she is just so down to earth and sweet and kind. Also, the last day of filming she ordered a ice cream cart for the whole cast and crew.
3. What is it like attending premieres for movies you’ve worked on?
When I get to go to the premieres for movies I have worked on it is always super fun because those are thing things that I just get to really enjoy and have fun at.
4. What is the best part of attending the GenerationOn events?
When I attend Generation on events it really makes me feel good because there is a bunch of kids that all come together to make a difference in the world which I really love doing.
5. Do you do anything special to prepare for auditions?
I drink tea almost every day of my life, whether I have a voice over audition or a live action audition tea always makes me calm, it soothes my throat, and it just tastes amazing.
6. What is the process like doing additional voices for a project?
When I get to do additional voice work it is always super fun to see some of my friends. One of the things we do for additional voice work is called a donut, when we all stand up and get in a circle and we just keep walking and shouting words or sentences or laughs into the microphone once we get to it. But what we say into the microphone has to be appropriate with what the scene is about or what is going on.
7. When watching the movies that you’ve lent your voice to, how do you react when you hear yourself?
When I hear my voice for the movies I have worked I doesn’t even really cross my mind that I am a certain character which I find kind of funny because all I know and remember is just the experience of doing the work so it never really has crossed my mind. All I think about is how funny my faced must have looked when said certain lines.
8. What has been your favorite episode of Shimmer and Shine to do so far?
My favorite episode of Shimmer and Shine has to be the episode Santa’s Little Genies because the animation in that episode is just so beautiful and it’s really funny too.
9. Do you get to spend time with Isabella and Alina often when working on the series?
I do not ever get to work with them in the booth but I do get to see them after or before I am in the booth.
10. Outside of Shimmer and Shine, what has been your favorite voice over project to do this year?
My favorite voice over project this year has been a job that I have to actually keep under wraps but once it comes out I think everyone will love it.
Is there anything else you would like to add?
I have a live action movie that will be coming out in 2016 called Jessica Darling’s It List and I get to play the role of Sara, who is definitely very confident about her wealth and popularity. She says things that she thinks may be a compliment in her mind, but may not come out as the nicest thing. I hope everyone loves it. I also just want to say thank you for all these great questions and I hope everyone has a great holidays!
Xoxo!
