2014 – Zachary Haven

 

Zachary Haven is a young actor from Los Angeles. He’s been seen on television shows such as Criminal Minds, The Vampire Diaries, been involved in the Let Your Light Shine music video and more! Zach will soon be seen in Airplane vs Volcano and to keep up to date make sure to follow him on Twitter and like his page on Facebook!

1. How did you get started in the industry?

Mom asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, and I said I wanted to be on the big screen. Mom sent me to classes in our small town and I loved it!

 

2. What was your first booking?

I think my first booking was a Tickle Me Plant commercial. They are the coolest plants ever!


3. What was it like filming The Vampire Diaries?

It was extremely fun and hot. I was in an episode with a lot of kids, so we all had so much fun playing in between takes. It was really neat meeting some of the cast too. It was filmed at a lake in the woods, so we got to do some exploring. I had so much fun!

 

4. How did you enjoy filming the Let Your Light Shine music video?

It was so much fun, because there were so many kids on that set also. Plus Bianca and Chiara were my friends and that made it even better. It also is a song that supports anti-bullying and that means a lot to me. Oh and we got lunch from Fresh Brother’s Pizza!

 

5. What was the experience like working on Criminal Minds?

It was amazing! The entire cast were so inspiring. I will never forget doing the table read and after it was my turn to introduce myself, everyone at the table, cast, directors and producers, clapped. It made me feel so proud! I would love the opportunity to be on the show again!

 

6. Do you have a favorite episode of L.A. Girls you’ve done?

The first one was my favorite. I think it was the funniest for me. Hope I return in season two!

 

7. What was the best part of being on The Doctors?

Playing ball in between takes with the actor that was playing my grandfather.

 

8. What was the experience like working on Horror House?

It was fun. At the end of every shoot day, they gave me an ice pop! They were also really good to make sure I never saw the scary guy.

 

9. Who have been some of your favorite people to work with?

I have been really lucky over the past 3 years, that I can’t pick one person. They have all been great and I would be honored to work with or for them all again.

 

10. What was been your favorite project to work on so far?

Wow, this is a tough one! Each project has made me a better actor, so they are all my favorite. But, Moonchild was really fun, because I got to fly. Criminal Minds is on the top of the list, because it was my first major booking in Los Angeles. I can’t wait to see how Airplane vs Volcano turns out with all the special effects. It will be on Video on Demand in March and then on DVD May 27.
