2014 – Terrapin Teague

 

Terrapin Teague appeared in two episodes of Parenthood last season. She has recently been busy working on multiple shows such as Castle, Nickelodeon’s Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, and Dawn, and was just on Pretty Little Liars this week! To keep up to date make sure to like her page on Facebook.

1. How did you get started in the industry?

I’ve been dancing for 8 years and professionally for the last 4 years. Because some of my friends were working some background TV shows in LA they told me to try because it’s fun! I always loved to be singing to friends and family, of course dancing and acting. So we signed with an agency and every job I’d go I’d be featured and got bumped up on a Nickelodeon show that will air in January 2015. I absolutely love to “work”, acting on shows or modeling…

2. What was the experience like walking the runway for Nancy Vuu?

I went to the fitting for the Nancy Vuu LA Week Show but the dress she needed a model was a little long for me so I couldn’t walk the runway for her. Nancy Vuu us so amazing she sent me a VIP invitation and my mom and I went to her show. It was so beautiful and magical!!! I got to walk on the red carpet, see some friends that were walking the runway and enjoy a beautiful show!!! It was such an unforgettable night!!

3. What was it like working on Parenthood?

Working on Parenthood was fun. It was one of the first couple shows I worked on. There were a lot of kids and we were in a school. I had fun and surprisingly my scenes are so amazing and I loved watching myself on the two episodes.

4. How did you enjoy filming your episode of Castle?

Castle was a fun, busy show to work on. The scene was also on a school with a lot of kids…we were playing on the playground for hours. It was cool and the crew were awesome, as always.

5. What was the best part of working on Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn?

Nicky, Ricky, Dicky and Dawn is my favorite show I worked. It was sooo nice meeting all the kids and the NRDD family. They are sooo funny and are always laughing shooting the episodes because it’s always funny! I had the best time ever!! We had a rehearsal then we were shooting in a different day! It was amazing and I cannot wait for the episode to air in January 2015.

6. How do you like shooting for Jelly the Pug?

Jelly The Pug is always a pleasure!!! I loove their colorful, fun outfits, dresses, even PJs. The studio is soo cool and fun and I love Natalie Warr, the photographer. It’s an easy shoot because you just have to be yourself and enjoy the moment wearing a pretty dress. It’s my regular lifestyle…I love Jelly the Pug Collections.

7. What was your time on set like filming The League?

Working on The League was cool. I was playing basketball with other girls I met there and we became friends. It was kinda funny because we were not good basketball players and the scene was a good basketball game…so we had fun “trying” our best and showing our game!! Haha.

8. What was the experience like working in New York City?

Ohhhh Working in New York was AMAZING but cold!!! I had big photoshoots there for big brands like ShoSho Bella, Neon Kisses etc…but the shooting were in the morning when it was freezing…or at the end of the day when it was freezing.The funny part was that I was shooting with amazing models from NY or Jersey and they were fine…I was the only one from California shaking and turning blue while shooting. But I did my best, and finishes all the shoots like a pro!!! Then I’d run to the car and roll myself in a blanket.

9. Who have been some of your favorite people to work with?

I think I love working!!! Doesn’t matter what I’m doing…if it’s a TV show, a short film, a music video or a photoshoot!!! I love doing all of them and I love being busy!!! All the people I’ve met and worked with were/are so amazing and nice…and I think this makes me love what I do even more! I’ve never had any bad experience in this business, so I love the photographers, directors, PAs etc…the whole crew are always fun and I enjoy every day I have to work…

10. What has been your favorite project to work on so far?

I don’t think i have a favorite project. When I get something I get super happy and excited and I fall in love with the scene and the person I’m gonna be and I do my best!! Then the next one comes and the same thing happens…so I love every single job I have/had to the moon and back!

Is there anything else you would like to add?

My music videos, “Trash Talk” by Pip Andrew and “Lost Again” By Quigley (I’m the principal actress in both of them) are going to be out in January and the other one February 2015… My first Short Film “Desperadas” by Dave Oleary was at the San Diego Fall Film Festival…and something big coming this work that I’ll share soon 😀 I love my life!!
