Saoirse Scott played the role of Jamie on One Life to Live. This year she has been busy promoting her film Danger Word, and to keep up to date make sure to visit her official website, like her page on Facebook, as well as her management’s page.
1. What was the experience like attending the National Black Writers Conference?
It was really awesome to see the different films made by so many talented writers and director and it was actually really cool to see something the cast, crew and writers worked so hard on finally come together so amazingly on the big screen
2. Do you have a favorite question you got to answer there?
I thought all the questions I was asked were all really great, but I liked the ones about how it was working with everyone because I felt I got to share how not only did but it was fun watching the final product but also so much fun making it. It was also a pleasure to listen to everyone else’s take on that busy weekend and I just really thought that was wonderful
3. How did you feel when you found out someone was doing graphic art for your character in Danger Word?
Well when I saw the artwork, it literally took my breath away. I had always seen people post their fantastic drawings of celebrities on Pinterest and I always thought of how cool it would be to have something done like that for me, and for that to actually happen is like a dream come true
4. What is the best part about shooting with Stacy Gallizzi?
I really just love how it’s so fun to work with Mrs. Gallizzi. It’s just awesome how everything come so freely and there’s not a dull moment and she really is an amazing photographer.
5. How did you like having a part in Saturday Night Live?
I love SNL. It’s one of my favorite shows. It was just really cool to be able to work with such an amazing actor like Paul Rudd and to be able to be in the same room as Seth Myers was such an honor. It was such a cool experience and I’ll never forget it
6. What was the process like filming it?
Well, when we were filming, there were a lot of really exciting girls, and the energy and whole environment was just really fun and then one direction came out and the energy just went up so much more, which I didn’t think was possible, but overall it was just a great fun experience
7. How cool was it being in the same skit as One Direction?
One Direction are such talented performers and to be in there with them was just awesome. They really were so sweet and funny and they just seemed like genuine great guys and I just found it so amazing to have meet such big pop stars who were still so grounded and down to earth
8. How did you enjoy working with Robin Strasser on OLTL?
She is a really talented actress and to be able to work with her and have her kind of help me better myself as an actress was really awesome and she’s so sweet and such a nice woman. When we were filming the wedding scene for Adrianna & Rex it was a really, really long day & she bought the whole cast & crew the most delicious cupcakes & brownies!!
9. What was the most challenging part of filming the storyline where Jamie got hit by a car?
As dumb as this sounds, probably the hardest part of that scene was laying has still as I possible could while filming. Like it might not seem like it and when u look at it, it seems Like it would be so easy to just sit still and relax, but not moving was actually a little difficult, but other than that it was great fun
10. What have you been up to this year?
This year I’ve been going on a few auditions, the screening of Danger Word, but I’ve mainly just been going to school. I started high school & my parents wanted me to have time to adjust. I’m doing normal stuff that most teenagers do going to the mall & the movies & hanging out with my friends. I guess that’s really it
We’d like to thank Saoirse for participating in this year’s Holiday Q&A Event!
