2014 – Paige Ollivier

 

Paige Ollivier played the role of Josslyn on General Hospital. This year she has been busy with various print jobs and to keep up to date make sure to keep checking back here at the site.

 

 

1. What was your shoot for Magic Fun Dough like?

I liked being dressed up like a fairy. I got to jump on the trampoline when I was done. And I got my hair and makeup done! My mom says “no makeup” until I am older but when I do acting jobs she sometimes lets me wear some blush and lip gloss.

 

2. How cool was it to see yourself on the toy box for it?

It was surprising! I didn’t recognize myself at first but then I remembered that it was me. I got to wear make up for that shoot so I forgot it was me for a minute. We bought a box so I could keep it and remember the fun time on set.

 

3. What was your time on set like working for Hanna Andersson?

Well my hair was crazy that day and there were so many kids so we all got to run around together and pretend to wait for the bus. I like shoots when we get to pretend to be doing something. I liked my outfit too.

 

4. How did you like being in the ‘Hold My Hand’ Michael Jackson video?

Me and my mom got to do that job together at the park. My scene was cool because I got to hold a live butterfly and watch it fly away. I didn’t know that butterflies could be frozen and then come back to life. It was really neat to hold it in my hand and watch it come back to life. Also I love Michael Jackson. My dad and I sing his songs and I have some really cool hand motions for “Beat it”

 

5. What is the best part about shooting with Colette Cugno?

She always is so fun! She knows exactly what to do and say to make me laugh. I have taken all of my head shots with her. She has kids my age too so she knows how help me get the wiggles out when I am acting silly!

 

6. How did you enjoy working for Skechers?

That was one of my favorite jobs! They played a ton of cool music and it was basically a dance party. A bunch of kids were there with me and I met a really cool friend who is a famous singer! She is so pretty and talented and she sang songs with me. We all got to keep our clothes from that shoot and I got this cool fairy dust necklace.

 

7. What is one of the coolest things to happen on set for one of your projects?

Well I always like it when I get a toy from a project. When I worked for cabbage patch dolls I got to bring home this cool fairy set. And I always like playing games with the studio teachers and other kids on set. One time I got to play this haunted mansion game of eye spy with my friend Brooklyn and the studio teacher. I just like projects that are fun and have other kids to play with.

 

8. If you could do a project with your brothers what would it be?

It would be neat to do a TV show with them. They could be my friends brothers and I would have a sister and we could all play together. That would be fun.

 

9. What was the experience like working on True Blood?

Well the first time I worked there I was pretending to be asleep and my “dad” put me in the car. He was super cool and he is the voice of Bronty the dinosaur on Doc McStuffins so he kept talking to me in Bronty’s voice! It made me laugh!

The other time I was eating a bowl of cereal in the house and pretend blood squirted everywhere! It was super funny looking and I didn’t really like the cereal but I had to keep pretending I liked it. It was kind of hard but I did it and it only took a few minutes. Ryan Kwanten (Jason Stackhouse) played my brother and he was wearing big footie Jammie’s and we played eye-spy in between takes. He also taught me some jokes.

 

10. What have you been up to this year?

Mostly just going to school and playing soccer. I took pictures for Cabbage Patch Kids and it was fun. It was by the beach. I also got to play with new toys from Mattel. It was for their in house videos for all the new 2015 toys so I have to keep the toys a surprise!

 

Is there anything else you would like to add?

I recently watched my first TV pilot called “The Doctors”, it was my first TV job and I got to go to the screening in Hollywood to watch it on a big screen like the movie theater. It was funny to see me so little and I had lines and did a good job. I was proud to have done a good job. (The pilot wasn’t picked up so it never aired).
