2014 – Lolly C.

 

Lolly is a young actress/model from the New York City area. Lolly has been seen for Nick Jr, Target, Time Out Kids Magazine, and more! To keep up to date make sure to keep checking back at our Facebook account!

 

1. How did you get started in the industry?

When I was 3 years old Mommy’s Musician friend recommended me to someone in the business. We gave it a try…It was fun- so we kept on going…

2. What was your first booking? How did you feel going on set for this first time?

My first booking was Nickelodeon (Nick Jr). I was in a commercial – it was so much fun. I got to make cupcakes with a chef. I was so excited to just be on camera -and later see my self on TV (it was so funny!!) It always made me giggle to see myself.

3. What was your favorite part of working for Time Out Kids?

My favorite part about working for Time Out NY Kids was hanging out with my new friends. Everyone was so much fun and really into having a good time. We were all professional on set – but knew how to have fun at the same time. Our location was the Brooklyn Bridge- it was freezing cold- and super windy. It was crazy with the balloons flying into the bike riders that passed by. It was cool!

4. How did you enjoy shooting for RAWR Magazine?

The RAWR Magazine shoot was a fun time- I was with my friends throwing glitter , eating candy and dressing up like a royal princess. AWESOME!

5. Do you have a favorite moment from petitePARADE?

I do have a very favorite moment from the Petite Parade Vogue Bambini Runway Shows, EATING CUPCAKES! Girls gotta eat! Models are healthy and watch what they eat- but they can also enjoy the best in life (cupcakes). Walking the runway was super fabulous- the “lights, camera, action” life style is really in your face at this show. I love my runway!

6. What is the best part about working for KidCuteTure?

KidCuteTure is always a energetic and happy shoot. The photographer is into working with the kids. We are always joking and laughing and jumping and having a great time. I love their designs too- fun wearable. They are very nice people to shoot for.

7. How did you feel when you saw yourself in the Target circular this year?

I took a few selfies with my target circular… I’m usually not that into seeing myself in print. Its kind of odd to see yourself… (giggle) This was cool because my mom and I are always in Target stores getting something. Mom says we go in for one thing- and come out with a million other things!!

8. What was your favorite part of your Garden State Discovery Museum shoot?

Doing the Garden State Museum shoot was just playful and free. It was like a birthday bash and christmas on a shoot. I was with my model friend Katie and my little brother Zander (new to modeling). We were having a ball – and then after it was over we went to the gift shop . I LOVE TO SHOP!

9. Who have been some of your favorite people to work with?

I have a few favorite people I have really liked working with: One is Julia P. (Parsons runway show designer) she inspired me to be a fashion designer. I also love her pink hair. She is not afraid to be unique – a lot like me. Julia is kind, creative and determined.

10. What has been your favorite project to work on so far?

My most favorite project so far was Parsons School of Design Runway Show. It was with the “Big Models” (adults). It was so intense to walk along that enormous runway. It was beyond gorgeous! There were two shows with many designers. I was so in Love with runway after this… I felt like I was walking on air. I was treated very well- and will always remember that experience.

Is there anything else you would like to add?

I am thankful you chose me to write about- I really do love performing . I am a ballet dancer and very focused on this too. I look forward to seeing where my future takes me. I think I will continue to be a great student and hope for the best in the biz as well.
