2014 – Judah Bateman

 

Judah Bateman appeared in an episode of The Neighbors. This year he’s been seen in the pilot for Maker Shack Agency, and to keep up to date make sure to keep checking back here at the site.

 

 

1. How did you get started in the industry?

I don’t audition very much. I started doing extra work for fun to see if I would like it. Then I got signed to an agent and I have really enjoyed working commercially.

2. What was your first audition, do you remember how it felt doing it for the first time?

My first audition was Nicky Ricky Dicky and Dawn. They originally thought they were going to use older kids. I felt I was funny. I gave my all and they never called me back. I was sad.

3. What was the experience like filming the pilot for Maker Shack Agency?

Maker Shake was fun. They called me in to be a skater kid. I had a few scenes and I liked it.

4. What was your day on set like for The Neighbors?

It was background but a lot of fun!

5. How did you enjoy working on George Biddle, CPA?

That was an indie short and my whole family auditioned and got cast.

6. How do you prepare for an audition?

I read everything that I’m sent-sides, script if attached etc. I really try to know the character. I memorize my sides.

7. Do you ever give your siblings advice on acting or for auditions?

Yes! I help them memorize sides and I tell them if they are believable or funny. I work with them in any way I can.

8. Who have been some of your favorite people to work with?

A guy in a Universal Hospital commercial named Jacori.

9. What has been your favorite project to work on?

An NBA commerical.

10. Outside of acting do you have any interest in pursuing other aspects of the industry in the future?

I love drawing and creating visual arts. I want to go to an art school and get involved in one of those aspects of the industry.
