Star-Kidz

Jasmine Alveran has appeared on both Parenthood and The Neighbors. This year she’s been seen in a PSA for the Boys and Girls Club as well as in an episode of Rake! To keep up to date make sure to visit her official website and follow her on Twitter.

1. What was your time on set like filming Rake?

It was wonderful getting the opportunity to work with director Sam Raimi.

2. How did you enjoy working with Jenna Ortega?

Jenna is great! She is such a nice person.

3. What was your experience like filming your video for the Boys and Girls Club?

It was awesome to be part of such a wonderful organization.

4. What was the best part about working on The Neighbors?

Filming the dance scene!

5. How did you like filming with Isabella Cramp, Marlowe Peyton and the other girls in the group?

It was so much fun! Marlowe and I worked together on Parenthood, and kept in touch after. So it was wonderful to work with her again.

6. How did you prepare for the dance routine you all did together?

The dance was part choreographed and part improve.

7. What is the process like lending your voice to a video game?

I was not the voice of Josefina Menendez, I was the face of the character. Josefina is the sister of Raul Menendez in the video game. It was cool to see myself in the video game.

8. What was it like working on a skit for Jimmy Kimmel?

It was fun to work on that skit!

9. Who have been some of your favorite people to work with this year?

Definitely, director Sam Raimi! He is such an amazing director.

10. What have you been up to this year?

I had to take a few months off for health reasons, and was very excited to work on the Boys and Girls Club on my first week back.

Is there anything else you would like to add?

I just want to encourage other children to remain positive and follow their dreams.

We’d like to thank Jasmine for participating in this year’s Holiday Q&A Event!
