2014 – Ilana and Adam Karchmer

 

Ilana and Adam Karchmer are older sister and brother to Ellie and Rose. This year Ilana has been seen in a Kia video and Adam was in the movie 22 Jump Street aswell as returning for another season of The League. To keep up to date make sure to check back here.

 

1. What has it been like for Adam to return for another season of The League?

He is so happy when he hears he gets to work on The League! He really enjoys it because he knows all of the cast and crew. He really likes to joke around with them!

 

2. What was his experience like to film the second episode?

Adam worked so hard for that episode! It was a great lesson in patience while he sat in make-up having the mustache and body hair applied! The mustache was applied one hair at a time. There were also a couple of different versions of the mustache before they decided how they wanted it to look. Adam loved filming the baseball scenes. They were filmed at the field where he actually plays Little League in real life!

 

3. How does Ilana prepare for her auditions?

Ilana likes learning lines and putting on the special clothes that I set aside just for auditions.

 

4. What was Ilana’s favorite part of filming her Kia video?

She enjoyed getting to make funny faces and laughing!

 

5. What has she been up to this year?

Ilana has been having fun at school and working on Annie in her drama class. She’s playing the orphan named “July”

 

6. How did Adam enjoy filming Conan?

Adam had a blast at Conan. He likes getting to do funny skits and being silly.

 

7. What was the time on set like for Adam to film True Blood?

The scene was filmed very late. It was the latest that Adam has ever stayed up! He was excited to be in a suit and liked being at a table with other kids. I think he will think it was pretty cool to be in the final scene for that show.

 

8. What was his shoot for Arrested Development like?

Adam was called in as a last minute replacement for the role. He got the call and we rushed to set. It was a funny party scene with lots of extras. He had a blast playing with the party props when he wasn’t filming. He also got to say a line to Will Arnett that ended up being cut.

 

9. How did he enjoy working with Mae Whitman?

Mae was so sweet and kind to Adam. They got to play with puppets together.

 

10. Does Adam have a favorite scene he’s done for The League?

It would be too hard for him to pick just one favorite scene! He feels so lucky to have writers who write such funny story lines that include him!!!
