Star-Kidz

Claire Elizabeth Oldham appeared in an episode of The Neighbors in 2013. This year she has been busy working on The Nut Job, Scout, a PSA, and more! To keep up to date make sure to like her page on Facebook and follow her on Twitter.

1. What was the experience like working on your Ban Bossy PSA?

It was really fun! I liked meeting all the girls that were on the PSA. Everyone on the crew was SUPER nice! I am always amazed at how the final product comes out. I originally had 4 lines and ended up with one word. But that’s how it goes….

2. How did you like working on Maker Shack Agency?

I had fun that day playing a nerdy girl (not really a stretch for me LOL) Best part was getting to hang out with my buddy CJ Berdahl between shoots.

3. What was your time on set like filming The Neighbors?

I remember that being a really long day on set. There was a lot of hurry up and wait that day, but I did meet my friend Kylie Burkholder and we’ve been good friends ever since.

4. How did you enjoy being on Family Game Night?

Family Game night was a fun experience because my cousins were with me, and it was their first experience on a set and it was fun hanging out with them.

5. What was the best part of working on Modern Family?

The best part of working on Modern Family I will have to say is THE FOOD ROCKS! I’ve always had friends on set working too so that’s always a plus!

6. How do you spend your time off set at shoots?

When I’m not doing school, or on set, I’m either watching behind the scenes or I’m reading or knitting.

7. What was it like filming Lost and Found?

Lost and Found was a really fun experience! It’s been one of my favorite sets to work on. The cast and crew was really chill and fun to work with. It was fun transforming from a little girl to a teenager, I played an 8, 10 and 13 year old girl even though I was only 11.

8. How did it feel to win an Audience Choice Award for your role in Daddy’s Little Girl?

It was a huge surprise! Everyone else that won an award that night knew they were nominated…I was the only one that didn’t know in advance. It was really cool to go up on stage and get my award. I won a steady cam, although secretly I wanted the crystal award that everyone else got. (at 9 years old, now I love the steady cam) Walking the red carpet and all the photos and meeting all the people after was really fun too! That was an AMAZING night!!

9. Who have been some of your favorite people to work with?

I’ve learned so much and have loved working with Jeffrey Weissman over the years in both theater and on the big screen. Lucinda Chrisman has been my movie mom two times and so sweet! Deeder Murray-Holmes, Dellany Peace, Constantin Preda, Waymon Boone are also some cool people that I’ve loved working with. A favorite interview of mine was with David Cook, he was sooo nice in person.

10. What can you tell us about your new project Scout?

I worked on Scout for 1 day. It was a very secret set, so I can’t say much. They were very adamant about no photos of the celebs or posting anything on social media about the project. My hair is brunette in this movie, which is kinda cool. My mom met Danny Glover and he was very nice.

Is there anything else you would like to add?

Besides acting, I’m teaching myself piano, love reading and writing, and have been having a blast with my latest hobby of doing special FX makeup. One of these days is love to work on a project with Jennifer Lawrence and would love to sing with Taylor Swift, oh and I’d still love to have that milkshake date with David Cook.

We’d like to thank Claire for participating in this year’s Holiday Q&A Event!
