2014 – Belle Smith

 

Belle Smith is a young actress/model from the New York City area. She has been seen for companies such as Gil & Jas, Toys R Us, and has been busy working on projects such as the Untitled HBO/Rock ‘N’ Roll Project and multiple films. 1. How did Belle get started in the business?

It all started just for fun. Belle’s picture was submitted to Cute Kid who sent her to an audition where we meet other model moms who introduced us to Munchkin Stars Management.

2. What was Belle’s first booking?

Belle’s very first booking was for Toys R Us. She had so much fun riding the toy car at the shoot that she didn’t want to leave.

3. How did Belle enjoy shooting for Boscovs?

Belle enjoyed the Boscov’s shoot, it was fast and easy. The crew were very nice and friendly.

4. What was the best part of working for Gil & Jas?

Belle got to wear their clothes during the shoot and brought some home. Gil & Jas designer/owner is a talented and smart man and is now like family to us.

5. What was her experience like working on the Untitled HBO/Rock ‘N’ Roll Project?

It was a very memorable and fun experience not only for Belle, but for the whole family. Belle and Mommy walked into this big house without much knowledge about the movie that was filming since Belle was only an extra. We were greeted by producers and was ushered to a living room where the main characters and Director Martin Scrocece were filming. Belle was given instructions by the director what to do, she acted it out and they started filming her. Belle walked in the set as an extra and ended up getting a principal role. She was treated very nicely by everyone from the director to the production staff. She was given her own dressing room, and got to hang out with the big stars and was able to meet the producer Mick Jagger. The whole family were also treated well and were accommodated to stay with Belle the entire filming days.

6. How did she enjoy doing an editorial shoot with Olesja Mueller?

Belle loves Olesja. She had a great time during the shoot. It was playtime for her since lots of her model friends were there. And Olesja is amazing and takes beautiful pictures!

7. What is the best part about taking part in the East Coast Starz events?

According to Belle, her favorite part is walking in the runway and when she gets the crown and her swag bag. Meeting old friends and making new ones. To sum it up, East Coast Starz provides the opportunity for kids to have fun and gain confidence.

8. What was Belle’s time on set like for filming Stuck?

It was great! Everyone was friendly and accommodating. We made friends with other child actors and their moms and are still in contact with them. The kids bonded well, they were laughing, joking and just had fun together before and after their shoot. It was all fun and play for Belle and didn’t realize she’s working.

9. Who have been some of her favorite people to work with?

Everyone she worked with is special to Belle but according to her she would love to work again with Bobby Cannavale and Olivia Wilde.

10. What has been Belle’s favorite project to work on so far?

The HBO Untitled Rock and Roll Project .

Is there anything else you would like to add?

Belle had finished filming other movies like Brandon, Freeheld, Ricki and the Flash and she is preparing to film an NYU Student film this month. She also booked Care Bear commercial and PACE University Industrial. So far it’s been a great run and Belle just hope to continue to have fun. 🙂
