1. How did you get started in the industry?
Kayla – We saw my friend in a Target ad and my mommy called her mommy and asked how she did that…and we went to the open call and Ms. Colette loved us!
2. Kayla, what is your favorite part about working for Vida Shoes?
I like trying on different kinds of shoes and walking around in them.
3. Aaron, how did you feel seeing yourself on a toy box at Toys R Us?
I feel, like, happy about it and that I did it and I’m just HAPPY! It’s really cool to see myself in my favorite store!
4. Kayla, how did you enjoy shooting your cover for the novel A Family for Maddie?
I was able to dress up like a little Indian girl and model with this really pretty lady…she looked so pretty in her dress…I had such a great time!
5. What was the best part of working for the Garden State Discovery Museum?
Kayla – The best part was when I make new friends and dressed up like a princess; especially my friend Mia because she was dressed like Elsa and I was dressed like Anna…I felt like we were sisters.
Aaron – My best part was when the guy put bubble mixture all over me and I was covered in bubbles. My other favorite part was smashing the blocks with my Hulk fists!
6. Kayla, how did you enjoy shooting for Toys R Us?
Oh! I felt soooo happy and it was so much fun! I love getting my hair and make up done and playing with the toys on set.
7. If you could work on any project what would it be?
Kayla – It would be….well, if they called me to wear an Elsa and Anna dress and I would get my hair and make up done and buy new shoes to wear.
Aaron – Wow, that a hard one…oh, I got it! I would love to model with a Nintendo 3DS XL or an iPhone.
8. Kayla, how did you enjoy your McCall’s Patterns shoot?
That was fantastic! I loved trying on different clothes. The people there played “Let It Go” and let me sing and dance while they took pictures…it was so cool!
9. Who have been some of your favorite people to work with?
Toys R Us has been the best! The little doggie, Sadie is so much fun to play with while we wait for our pictures to be taken!
10. What has been your favorite project to work on so far?
Kayla – My favorite project was modeling with the doll head because she looked just like me!
Aaron – All of them!
Is there anything else you would like to add?
Kayla – I want to say thank you Ms. Colette!
Aaron – Yes, I want to say that too…Ms. Colette is awesome!
We’d like to thank Aaron and Kayla for participating in our November Q&A series!
