2014 – Aaralyn Anderson

 

Aaralyn Anderson is a young actress/model from the New York City area. Her resume includes shoots for OshKosh, Toys R Us, commercials for CHIP and she was recently in an episode of The Haunting Of! 1. How did Aaralyn get started in the industry?

When Aaralyn was a baby everyone would stop us and want to look at the baby everywhere we went. I joked about her being a baby model one day online when she was about 9-10 months old and a friend said she should be and referred us to an agent her friend had worked with. I submitted according to her referral and they picked Aaralyn for their roaster immediately and started sending her out on auditions. Her very first audition was for Huggies.

2. What was Aaralyn’s day on set for OshKosh like?

The OshKosh shoot was a two day shoot. The first day was at a HUGE estate in Connecticut. That day she got to have a tea party in the garden and played a grand piano in the mansion. She LOVED every bit of that day and made lots of new friends. The next day was in central park. It was a quick shoot with some other new friends. She thought it was so cool to be in a huge RV with tinted windows in the middle of central park with everyone walking by.

3. How did she enjoy filming The Good Wife?

Aaralyn thought shooting The Good Wife was exciting! She was the only child on set. She had a pretend mommy who was silly off set. She had to pretend to be scared and duck from gunfire. She also got to meet Christine Baranski whom she had recognized from How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Ms Baranski was so sweet to Aaralyn.

4. What was the best part about working for Sprout?

The best part of Sprout was playing Duck Duck Chicken with Chica and Hosts Tim and Emily. Aaralyn was excited she got to meet Emily a few weeks before they revealed her on Sprout which was top secret!

5. Do you have a favorite shoot you’ve done for Toys R Us?

My favorite shoot for Toys R Us was the Princess Sofia Shoot for their Happy Places Campaign. It was so much fun to play in a pretend bedroom and dress up like a Princess. But I really have loved ALL the shoots I have done for TRU

6. How did Aaralyn enjoy filming her CHIP commercial?

The CHIP commercial was a challenge Aaralyn had to keep reaching for the same sippy cup over and over from different angles but she and the crew had a lot of laughs.

7. How did Aaralyn react when she saw her commercial on TV for the first time?

The first time Aaralyn saw herself on TV in her first commercial she was little and was like “hey that’s me” lol but when she saw the CHIP commercial she started screaming “My Commercial My Commercial” every time it would air.

8. What was the experience like filming The Haunting Of?

Filming The Haunting of for Aaralyn was a unique experience. She had to play the spirit of Skylar who was Vince Neil’s 4 yr old daughter who passed away from Cancer. She was on a sound stage all by herself with the director and crew taking directions for what they wanted her to say and do. We had no idea how the final would even be until we saw it on TV.

9. Who have been some of her favorite people to work with?

Aaralyn thinks some of the best people to work with have been some of the behind the scenes people on set. A lot of the crew members from hair and makeup to wardrobe to camera have been a lot of fun on almost every job she has done.

10. What has been Aaralyn’s favorite project to work on so far?

Aaralyn has a hard time choosing when we ask her, she thinks each has its own fun, experience and memory she treasures.
