Tyler Rossell is a young actor/model from New Jersey. Since our Q&A with him last year he has worked on several projects including the short film Left, commercials for MasterCard and AT&T, and more! To keep up to date make sure to visit his official website!
1. What was the best part of filming your MasterCard commercial?
I loved getting to play on the field at Giants Stadium! I got to run through the tunnel and the crew was awesome and played football with me and carried me around! It was so hot and I was dressed for the winter so the hair and make up ladies would fan me in between takes. That was funny! I also got to drive around the city in a car being pulled by a trailer. Everyone was so nice to me, they even let me keep the Giants jersey.
2. Do you have a favorite Toys R Us shoot you’ve done?
I liked them all, I got to play with the toys.
3. What was your shoot for Left like?
Shooting Left took 2 and a half days in upstate New York. We were away for 3 nights and stayed in the house we shot in. I got to sleep on a cot! I had so much fun with my costar Liam. We would play cards, baseball and on the ipad together when we had breaks. I got to go hiking, play in the dirt, build forts and wear pajamas all day! The crew was amazing and so good to me!!! They let me keep my pajamas! The director Jacob was so nice to me and worked with me a lot!
4. How did you enjoy filming your F.A.R.E. PSA?
I liked this shoot a lot because there were a lot of kids! We got to play while waiting. We also got to eat cupcakes!!!
5. What was the best part of your 20/20 Magazine shoot?
The best part was being silly wearing the glasses! I loved seeing all my pictures in the magazine!
6. Do you have a favorite memory from your Remix the Movies shoot?
I got to do improv and be really silly with my friend Debbie!
7. What was your favorite part about attending the Jack Attack premiere?
I loved seeing everyone again especially my directors Bryan and Antonio and costar Helen. It was cool to see my movie on a big movie screen! I got to sign autographs and they gave me the movie poster! My family, some friends and my manager Colette came too. I had so much fun!!
8. Who have been some of your favorite people to work with this year?
I have really liked everyone! Everyone has been really great with me and I have made some good friends!!! A lot of the grownups have spoiled me!!! I like that part!
9. What was one of the funniest or coolest things to happen on set for one of your projects this year?
I lost my tooth on the set of MasterCard! It was sooooo cool! Everyone was really nice about it even though I know they were freaking out a little bit! They pretended to put it back in for me! I could not stop talking about it so they teased me and gave me a sign to wear saying “Did you know I lost a tooth?” One of the production assistants gave me five dollars for losing my tooth.
10. What has your favorite job been for this year?
Jack Attack is my favorite job ever but MasterCard is my favorite job this year! Both jobs were super fun and the people were amazing!!!
Is there anything else you’d like to add?
I am having a lot of fun! I love all the jobs I have done and meeting so many great people. I want to thank everyone for being so great to me. I also love when I get to see my manager Colette and my friends who work with her too. It is always so much fun! She works so hard for me and and my mom and dad and I appreciate it. I really love getting to see my finished projects. That part is really cool!!!
We’d like to thank Tyler for participating in this year’s November Q&A series!
